Don't worry--as soon as NVIDIA outbids AMD (not hard to come up with over 20 dollars) then they will change their tune.
They've been doing this for awhile. X1 and PS4 both use AMD and Ubisoft's PC ports are complete ass.

It's called Porteus-Kiosk. Based in Gentoo.
The only thing I can do in it is to browse using Firefox or Chrome (choosen in installation).

ok /g/ i just got an 80gb ipod 5.5 gen and i have already rockboxed it, what do you suggest i do to it next. i want to change the hdd so flash mem but not sure of the best method/guide. and replacing the housing to something a bit neat maybe a clear one

the site's handbook is quite good. following it from a to z will get you the os running with minimal trouble.
i didn't rely on other sources of information, maybe googled about portage a little (quite new for me). 'man' is always there to help you with your commands
Ok /g/. I've fallen for the linux meme and I've just installed debian with xfce. I have no idea what the fuck I am doing. I guess first I have to install drivers since I'm not getting any sound videos just play at max speed. A driver disk came with my mobo but it and all the downloads on the website are for windows only. What do I do?
don't install debian first go even if some /g/ faggots tell you to
Ubuntu will come with newer drivers.
Sudo apt-get install drivers
1) Don't use xfce if you're new.
2) Try again with linux mint
3) Google your particular MOBO or video card for proper drivers.
Why is Windows XP the one distro people refuse to move away from and why are XP users moving to Linux insisting on forcing their Windows XP clone desktop environments down everyone's throats? I mean specifically MATE/Cinammon/Lxde/Xfce etc.
