Before you get in any whatcuck/what.cd faggotry for other trackers remember you can get in PTP using CG and BiB and BTN doesn't recruit atm. & you really don't need 90% what.cd if you have rutracker.

Not sure what private trackers are all about?

The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.

Check out the wiki and update it yourself if you want more instead of complaining like a fucking faggot. https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php/Private_trackers

>people may report emails and other personal info posted here to staff to get you banned.

TayTO is such a garbage group it's a wonder why PTP is tagging their releases as GP. Which tracker is responsible for this shit group?

Anyone else notice that most of the subtitles for their releases always have errors and missing lines? They aren't even checked. The people who check for GP don't even check anymore.

What do you think about the Rust programming language? Why are so many computer scientists excited about it? People are talking about rewriting everything in Rust.

>What do you think about the Rust programming language?
Looks cool but until I've taken a closer look at it I can't judge it for sure.

>Why are so many computer scientists excited about it?
I'm excited about it because it brings together all of the things that low-level imperative languages have always needed in a way that has never been done well before.

It might be the C-killer due to that. Only time will tell.
>>
I started to learn it one week ago and so far it feel like a C/C++ with enforced good practices regarding memory management, a more coherent synthax, some interesting functional elements and a better dependency management. I use mostly Python and C for everything, I learnt Go and dropped it quickly but I might stick to Rust. The compiler is really punishing you all the time so it's a little bit infuriating but it get better as you understand what you're doing. The community is nice for the time being so it makes up for the lack of documentation. I really hope Rust work out because it seems like the first decent alternative to C/C++, I never checked D tho'.

If android is so good then why has the iPhone beat the android flagships consistently in benchmarks and app opening speed since the 4s?

Why can't android just get good chip developers like apple?
134 posts and 12 images submitted.

>>53837533

Because Android would, then few months later after the latest qualcomm is released, then a new iphone would be out to beat the benchmarks.

Welcome to /fg/lt/, or as I've recently taken to calling it, /fg+lt/. We are always open to users of all levels, including absolute beginners.

There are four ways to try GNU/Linux, you can:

0) Install a GNU/Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
1) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full GNU/Linux experience".
2) Dual-boot GNU/Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you want to learn more about GNU/Linux)
3) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with GNU/Linux

Before asking, please search for answers to your questions in resources.

Please be civil, notice the "Friendly" in every Friendly GNU/Linux Thread.

Understand that much of your software from Windows will be unavailable, although maybe WINE can make up for it.

How HYPED are you for LG G5?
The first modular phone. Today we have G5, next we have smartphones where you can add more ram if u play games, or better cpu, or more storage. Why buy a new phone when you can upgrade your modular phone? This will be the future next generation and LG has won.
