So they're integrating even more trash deeper into the OS in a way that makes them even harder to remove. Hooray. I guess since MS isn't "on top" any more they think they can get away with this obnoxious shit that got their asses sued off in the '90s.
Now that the dust has settled and HTC Vive's supremacy over other VR headsets has been pretty much established and a journalistic consensus has been reached, will you buy it as soon as possible or wait for a later, improved version?

>From now on, uBlock Origin will pull assets (filter lists, scriptlets) from a project dedicated strictly for the purpose of maintaining those resources: uBlockOrigin/uAssets. Notice that this project is owned by uBlockOrigin, an organization I created to maintain all things related to uBlock Origin, uMatrix. For now uAssets is the first project to be held under that organization.

very nice, this should make managing the filters much easier to organize

>Can gorhill get any more based?
He would be if he made uBlock and uMatrix the same project. Like it was in the past. Now I have to have both dynamic filtering in ublock and umatrix enabled.
He should also make uMatrix automatically open the correct page at the logger.
>>53823265
Also, he should make it easier to see in the dynamic filtering and uMatrix what domains are filtered by external filters.

I kinda want to back to the new design. It needs tweaks but it looked nice. At least give us the option to select it instead of Yotsuba!

If he could make the motorbike run then why couldn't he make the car run?
Smells like bull shit to me.

20 miles isn't that long, i could probably walk that distance if I had a decent hat, would probably take less time than turning a car into a motorbike without proper tools...

It would be a hassle to fix the broken parts, so he just took whatever worked and made it into a bike.
Why does everyone on /g/ seemingly hate Windows 10 so much? I genuinely think it's a good product. All the silly rumors about spyware/botnet are straight up lies created by idiot paranoids.
Windows 10 is the safest operating systsem on the market today, with features like smartscreen filter, applocker, cloud-based windows defender, and an improved updates system that ensures no computer stays unpatched and vulnerable.
Additionally, the whole telemetry paranoia is off the charts. They doesn't any personal info and it's only used to fix the bugs. Would you rather give one of the oldest and most reputable American software companies a small bit of info on how you use your computer, or would you rather help provide your entire identity and all your files to cybercriminals?
There is also a lots of other good improvements in Windows 10 like the new Edge Browser, built in appstore, memory compression, DirectX 12, and Cortana assistant. So many good things in Windows 10 but elitist idiots stick to 10 year old windows 7 saying its safer and better. LOL its 2016. Please tell me im not the only person here with even the slightest sense of rationality.

what does /g/ think about apple's new programming language?
Why should I care? I'm not going to use it.

Bingo, not with C# going the way it is...no need for objective-c/swift to develop ios/mac apps...
I'm on Winblows, I'd care otherwise

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>still no foobar on linux
iTunes gives you DRM-free 256kb/s AAC. If you don't grab the iTunes version because of some irrational hatred of Apple, it's your own fault.
Never had that problem OP. What artist and album?
In the Linux file system is there any difference between "/path/to/dir" and "/path/to/dir/"?
If so, what?
If they are interchangeable is one more standard?
I've tried Googling but Google doesn't care about /'s.
/path/to/dir would refer to the "dir" directory itself.
/path/to/dir/ actually refers to "/path/to/dir/." which means you're inside the directory.

I don't follow.
If I cd /root or cd /root/ I still end up in the exact same place. Can you give me an example demonstrating a practical difference between the two?
According to the forum admin:

Indeed, it is being worked on. You can now see the progress being made on this Github pull request.

Seems to be a totally flat icon theme so far, and they are working on replacing ALL of the icons in qBittorrent.
Looks like this is possibly headed to qBittorrent 3.4 at the earliest, but things can...

Explain yourself, modern computing.
Lazy fucks that don't know how to code.
programs are written in more abstract languages with more helper libraries and frameworks. We have "plenty of ram" so devs don't try to optimize
Unused ram is wasted ram
