Just woke up to this, and am disappointed. My linux partition has stylish and 4chanX, so that shouldn't be a problem, but my Windows partition I'm running right now is vanilla, so now I have to fiddle with this too.
I do not approve of how this looks. It looks like Google came in and jizzed in the CSS.
So just install ABP and allow unobtrusive ads. That's how you can best help the internet anyway.

8 bit + FRC on good monitors
10 bit on fancy monitors.
16 bit per channel is used internally by quite a few pieces of software, we really don't need to pump it out to the screen at that quality though.

I know that there exists a F-Droid repo called "libresignal" but I don't trust it.
How hard building apps like these from source actually is? Running arch.

You have a bigger problem because Signal relies on GCM which requires GPS to be installed.
Libresignal drains battery, alternatively you could install a FOSS GPS implemenation.
