Is it worth it?
Yeah u get 2 to 3 degrees from it
Okay now post pcitures where the die gets ripped off with the heatsink
>>53791069
That only happens with soldered dies, Intel rarely does that. That's AMD's thing

Before you get in any whatcuck/what.cd faggotry for other trackers remember you can get in PTP using CG and BiB and BTN doesn't recruit atm. & you really don't need 90% what.cd if you have rutracker.
Not sure what private trackers are all about?
The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.
Check out the wiki and update it yourself if you want more instead of complaining like a fucking faggot. https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php/Private_trackers

If I use a program like Photoshop or Cinema4d on a noncommercial license, how will they know, if I do sell the stuff I create?
I hope that's the right board for that question, I dont think /gd knows the tech side about this
bumping
pls tell me if that's the wrong board, i will delete
Bump again
>>53790754
I really don't know about cinema 4d but about photoshop I know there is a method to see if you used it to manipulate an image and then check if you bought their license. Usually they don't check small fhishes so you'll probably be ok.
also don't steal programs you fucking nigger

Looks like someone bought a cheapass CPU instead of based i5 2500k and reposts this thread every day because that's about as much as their shitty processor can handle while dealing with an OS, antivirus, encryption for their CP, etc.
My dad needs a phone. He doesn't really care if it's a smartphone or not, but he needs something loud, durable (ideally), and that just works well.
I don't know anything about phones outside of smartphones. Help

I'm gonna wait for Polaris. In the off chance that amd releases a better gpu, I don't want to feel stupid for giving into buyer's hype instead of waiting a few months.

I have a big website and I need a Facebook fanpage to promote it to normalfags.
In order to register an username, I need an SMS verification
My concern is that stupid Facebook will somehow leak to people that has my phone number (it's my personal number) that I have that big website generating a decent amount of ad revenue (I want to keep it to myself).
I don't feel like buying a SIMcard for an additional phone number just to get a FB username.
So my question is: Does FB notify people that has your number notify that you own that FB when you enter your number?
Im using a brand new FB, a brand new email, but my concern is the phone number.
I've set everything to as private as possible.
I've noticed that FB doesn't allow you to set "Who can look you up using the email address or phone number you provided?" to "only me" which is ridiculous (pic related), but since it's a Fanpage, there are no "Friends" so this seems irrelevant.
Please help.
I hate making threads that get 0 replies.

Hello
Heads up. This shit's now free as in beer, getting open sourced soon.
>>53789398
>open sourced soon
i somehow missed that part
It is open sourced, including Xamarin.Forms
That's right, free cross platform development for everyone!
Holy shit, this is based.
Yes! YEES! My STUPID faggot company will no longer consider using fucking unity 3d for apps! YEES! YES!
So this is something that I have wanted to do for a while now and I realize that it is totally pointless and a waste of time and all that, but hear me out.
>> modern CPU's are mind-numbingly complex, containing billions of transistors.
>> ancient CPU's are still mind-numbingly complex, but might only have a few thousand transistors.
>> the Intel 4004 only had 2300. Granted, it was an 8-bit CPU that cant really do anything by todays standards. Even CPU's like the atmel atmega 328 18-bit cpu used in the arduino uno is far superior to the 4004. Heck, even the atmega 8, the 8-bit version (used in other, less powerful arduino boards) is far more advanced than the 4004.
>> a transistor can be constructed with two LED's with their polarity's facing in opposite directions.
>> In theory, the intel 4004 could be made with a mere 4,600 LED's, a bunch of header cables, and a TON of breadboards.
>> I want to build a CPU out of LED's. I want it to actually be able to run programs. The 4004 would be easy to do (assuming you used IC chips for the 4 supporting chips needed for it to run) but it is VERY limited in what it can do. If we made an atmega 8 out of LED's and other components below the logic gate level, it could actually run stuff that people use today for arduino programs.
>> using LED's instead of transistors would double the number of components needed, but you could see the individual LED's flash on and off, so that would be cool.
>> Now all I need is a reason to do this that is convincing enough to get people to help, people to help, a full schematic of the atmega 8 or equivialent CPU, an unlimited supply of LED's, and a shit ton of breadboards.
>> Im thinking I have discovered an awesome graduate project for a physics major and CS minor like myself...
>>53789394
the 328 is a 16 bit, not 18 bit. typo
It's 8-bit, it's basically a fancy version of the Atmega8
I'm waiting for the news report of some faggot setting his house on fire cuz he tried to fire a few thousand leds with a 220W cable
