Didn't see one so I figured I'd start one. I pirated a copy of Skyrim and I can either run it in full screen that's too big so the bottom bar gets cut off, or too small in windowed mode. When I try to alter skyrimprefs.ini, it won't let me. I'm using windows 10. How do I fix my resolution? Is there a separate program I could use to force the program to fit my monitor? My resolution is 2560x1080.

I'm guessing this is your problem. That's not a 16:9, 16:10 or 4:3 res. Does it run at 1920x1080 with vertical bars?

Would you dual-monitor 144hz screen as a main screen and then a 60hz monitor as a secondary?

Also, opinions on curved monitors?

When do the new mid range AMD/Nvidia cards come out? My 7870 died yesterday so I want a new card ASAP but if there's good mid-range stuff coming soon I'll wait.

as much as i love the idea of milling for all the billets and bits i could use, i need something more compact since i'm an apartment fag. i was thinking i could make all the plastic pieces and then assemble them as one metal whole with a sand cast, but i'm worried about imperfects that the sand grain could cause. any info on this would be appreciated. i also looked into sintering and it's also lacking in precision for anything sub 100k. the best i've seen is the formlabs for its size.
>>
really nobody? come on people. think about it like this. you could print a cast of stallman as a dildo. surely this should get someones attention?

Why are Samsung batteries so shit, I don't use it and the battery dies so quickly through the day. When it's close to 15% it just dies and goes to 0% WTFFF

I want to program a simple desktop application for Windows and Linux.

What's the best program language to use? C++?

Can Linux execute a program written in C#?

Try Qt toolkit (with Qt Widgets). It's quite easy to write applications in C++ using this and possible to deploy to Windoze using Mingw.
C#? what's that?

It was a stormy night outside my window. I was fully adorned in ski mask and fingerless gloves. I turned the computer on and typed on it, started slow, but then slowly increasing in tempo.

After some typing was done, the operating system loaded up. It was Linux, and it was optimised for hacking. I had the Pentagon in my sights. A message appeared: "do you want to hack into the Pentagon? Y/N?, to which I answered Y.

The next day, 9/11 happened.

What's up with all the AKG hate as of late? These (Q701, K702, K612, etc.) are as neutral as neutral can be - for the price

Is it because of Zeos bashing the K612 that this new wave of haters has arrived, or made their voice be heard when otherwise would have remained silent?
