>a removable battery is a selling point
Are you fucking kidding me?
>>53800582
It's true though. A sad commentary on modern design.
I have a g3 and the battery is removable
>>53800582
Bit confused here op, are you mad at lg for giving options or mad at everyone else that it's now a selling point because no one else does it anymore?

20Mbps (2.5Mb/s for real) for 35 USD and 30Mbps for 40 USD. (3.75Mb/s for real). What is the rest of the world's opinion?
That is slow and expensive as fuck
I'm switching contract to 20/1 for 39€/month
>>53800259
seems expensive
I paid 30€ for 20/1mbit 6 years ago, I could get like 50mbit for that price now
What has cyanogenmod done! Is this supposed to be funny?

>I need a new laptop. I'm leaning towards a macbook because that seems to be the cool thing to do.
>But before I pull the trigger, maybe I should see what /g/ has to say about it:
>"Apple is gay and you are gay"
>"OSX sucks"
>"Overpriced"
>Okay then, I'll guess I do a bit of research before making a decision.
>[hours worth of research later]
>So basically there are like 2 or 3 Windows laptops that approach the comparable Macbooks, all of which have some glaring flaws despite being around the same price.
>Macbooks have an amazing battery life, track pad, display, and I can install Windows if I really want to.
>I'm going to buy a macbook, not because it's the cool thing to do, but because it's the smart thing to do.
>>53799919
>buy macshit
>osx is a massive pile of shit
>hfs+ is the worst filesystem in history and actively corrupts any data stored on it
>battery efficiency is utter shit that makes XXXTREME GAYMEN LAPTOPS look efficient by comparison
>applel makes up for it by stuffing a fuckhuge massive heavy battery in it
>the room sacrificed is where the cooling system should have been
>overheats when doing any task other than facebooking
>throttles to 800mhz
>smart thing to do
Nice meme.
>want a laptop
>go on /g/ looking for what to buy
>get a Thinkpad T420
>put Ubuntu on it
>holy shit this thing is amazing
Thanks /g/
I'd probably try a macbook, seeing as OSX looks similar to Ubuntu, but this laptop and OS are so great

If any of you can crack the code, you will forever change the election.
DC Madam's attorney has hidden an election bombshell. It is due to be released in two weeks.
http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2016-03-31/dc-madams-attorney-says-election-bombshell-already-online
>“There’s a link right now, that if you had, you would have access to the records,” Sibley says about the website. “If I die, disappear, whatever, they will be out.” Sibley says his website hosts PDFs of Palfrey call logs that contain about 5,000 phone numbers, along with downloadable spreadsheets that contain the names and addresses of 815 Verizon Wireless customers from those logs, which he acquired with a subpoena ahead of Palfrey’s trial.
The story from a fellow anon:
>woman known as "DC Madam" runs high-end escort service in DC for over ten years
>amasses large database of high powered politicians and their sexual encounters with her hookers
>she gets investigated, walls start closing in on her
>"dies mysteriously" in 2007, hanging in her mom's backyard shed is considered a suicide
>but before her death, she gace all her information to her lawyer
>after her death, lawyer was put on gag order, making it illegal for him to release the data
>story gets forgotten for years
>2016 election comes
>the lawyer wants to release the information because it is "very relevant" to this election
>he has set an ultimatum of 2 weeks. if the courts dont lift the gag order in 2 weeks, he's gonna do it (madman.jpg)
>info will also be released automatically
>he set up four servers across the world, and if he doesnt enter a password every three days, the information will be sent to a bunch of media outlets
>this "dead man trigger" style system helps protect him from "disappearing"
The only possible people to be hurt by this are Cruz or Hillary (or even Kasich). Post all relevant info and findings here.

I want to become a programmer but I'm 23. Am I too old? I have a year's worth of experience so far but I'm still a novice.
I'm trying to focus on app/systems dev for phones but that could change.
No you aren't too old, but you might be too stupid (based solely on the fact that you're asking this very question)
I wouldn't worry about being too old.
Also 23 is such a shit age. Fugg
>>53798985
Care to clarify why? Some fields have an age bias and I'm curious to see if anyone here has had experiences that confirm/disconfirm this.
Alright /g/ I need some help.
My g3 sometimes charges, sometimes doesn't. It gets hot regardless of if it's charging or not.
When not charging it'll pull around 0.35A from the wall wart.
When it does charge, the battery will run down in around 8-10 hours on its own in standby mode on a fresh install with no installed apps, sometimes battery stats shows phone stays awake, sometimes it shows wifi is active, sometimes it shows no cause for the drain.
This is all with airplane mode by the way.
Sometimes to charge it I have to plug it in and reboot the phone, otherwise it won't detect the charger and won't charge.
When it's off and refusing to charge the red charging led will blink on and off and the battery will show 0% on the screen.
I've tried various roms, both custom and stock, but I have no idea what to do.
I bought this phone 5 months ago second hand and it would really suck if it didn't even last me one year.
I've tested with a bunch of different cables and wall warts.
Feeling really desperate here. Is it fixable?
>>53798388 try fulmonics rom, if not it may be a hardware issue. Open it and check for signs of water damage.
>>53798542
I tried fulmics 6.0 rom, right now I'm on cm 12 but I'm going to try fulmics 5.0 rom.
No water damage as far as I can tell. And it's been working flawlessly for the 5 months I've had it.
Could it be water damage? I have used the phone in the rain a few times when I needed gps or messaging people.
