What cheap Chinese tech have you bought, and would you recommend it?

Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on eBay, AliExpress and similar sites.

These resistors are rated <=1% if this they're to be believed.

Tested them with the meter and they seem to be in spec, but my meter is kinda shit so I'm not sure.

I'll check for the caps, any suggestion for where to buy them? I doubt Ali would have good stuff, seeing as the other electronic stuff they sell is fucking trash.

>>
>>53839254
Because it's advertised and shilled as having good battery life but only manages 7 hours SoT because they only focused on a big battery and cheaped out on everything else.

The oukitel k10000 manages more than a full day SoT even though the ulefone has a battery 60% as large.
60% the battery size, 25% the battery life.

You buy the ulefone power for the battery, otherwise cheaper phones like the redmi note 2 or k3 note destroy it in performance/price.

Man, I don't even want to compromise on performance any more.

My moto /g/ has similar specs that a lot of these xboxhueg-battery phones have, but I wouldn't waste money on anything with such horrible specs in 2016.

Can't they make a big battery phone that has actually good specs? Otherwise I'm just gonna get a flagship phone with a power case.

>>
>>53839361
If performance is an issue you could always just grab the ulefone power.
7 hours SoT is still pretty decent, but it shouldn't be shilled as having killer battery life when they oukitel k10000 manages to completely annihilate it?

2) if, for some reason that does not happen, you risk burning out the USB port

Finally got my keyboard for my cube i7 stylus.

I'm a little disappointed with the build quality, I was hoping a $60 keyboard wouldn't feel like a $10 one. It's not bad, just not quite what I expected. The HP stylus fits nicely. I left the tether since that pic is from a test fit and if it got stuck I wanted to be able to remove it without damage.

>>

yes, middle ones.

power has 6050mAh, k10000 has 10000mAh
Power gets 7 hours SoT, k10000 gets more than a full day continuous SoT.
Extra 3950mAh battery capacity, extra 20 hours battery life.

Plus the z3c gets pretty close to the ulefone power in SoT so I'm really not seeing the appeal.
>>
>>53840275
Should work fine then. Plug it into your phone and see if it says ac or usb in battery stats.

Also keep your voltmeter attached to measure voltage sag. 4.5 seems a little low.
>>
>>53840294
4.8-5.2 are accepted standard tolerances for USB devices.

It's an online store selling chink shit, where as aliexpress is like a wild west ebay because they let everyone open up shop and ali ALWAYS sides with the seller. Ali's also more littered with fakes, whereas sites like Gearbest/DealExtreme/Banggood etc have deals/partnerships with actual brands and will proudly state that what you're buying is original. With Ali you just hope for the best and if your shit gets lost then tough shit son.

U2/T6 are efficiency bins. 1A, 3B are color tint bins. Efficiency is linked to color tint. U2 has around 3-6% more output for the same current but comes in the 1A tint that is cool bluish and makes colors looks shitty.

Should I just cancel it? this is rather fishy, especially since I've ordered it form a French warehouse, it was a flash sale aswell.

Should be fine. I've seen reviews on the k10000 which has a weaker cpu and it's got a smooth consistent ui.

I'm thinking of getting the k10000 but the cpu is holding me back. Ui is smooth in the videos I've seen but I don't want it lagging on the second internet tab I open or facebook chat heads stuttering across the screen.

Alright for those of you awake at real nigga hours, is there a straight-forward way of switching the back/menu buttons on MIUI Xiaomi phones. Or is it down to rooting and editing the keylayout file?

If it's only powered by USB it'll only work with 2.5" or smaller laptop drives.
3.5"s either need extra power, or just power them separately and use a sata extension cord to your adaptor.
I've just wired a custom sata power cable, bought a bunch of usb-sata adaptors and connected them all up to a USB hub.

No. It's not meant to be used as a Go Pro. The video and sound quality isn't there if you seen youtube review vids.

It's meant to be used as a spy cam for personal conversations involving money or etc or maybe spy cam'ing your sister.

Only problem with it is (maybe) overheating issues like what youtube reviews say or it was dead on arrival. I ordered one knowing it has low performance but it'll be used for its intended purpose just like in that Zootopia movie where "it's my video against your word".
