How's the 9.2 final working on 4S? I've been watching some comparative vids and the newest ios seems to have some major speed improvements from what I've noticed. Is it worth it? I miss a lot of apps that I was using but are now set for ios's from 8 and up. I'm currently on 7.1.2.

I have really bad comp. 2gb ram, CPU AMD C-70 (1.33ghz 2 cores) and I have problem with playing 720p movies. Currently I was using CCCP codec pack, but I want to ask you: which codec pack or what should I install to play 720p movies on my computer smoothly? I don't care about quality, all I want is playing videos smoothly due to my bad CPU/ram.
Any protips?
Check for torrents with baseline or universal encode settings. I find it difficult to believe the C-70 doesn't have some sort of hardware accelerated decoding for MPEG4.

I have a low opinion of Gentoo GNU/Linux.
Gentoo is a GNU/Linux distribution, but its developers don't recognize this; they call it "Gentoo Linux". That means they are treating me and the GNU Project disresepectfully.
More importantly, Gentoo steers the user towards nonfree programs, which is why it is not one of our recognized free distros.

Hey /g/ i think i have gone tottaly amateur with applying paste to cpu. First i think i put too much, 2 lines on cpu, and 2 lines on cooler (thermalright macho) then smearing it evenly with plastic card. I assembled the cooler to the cpu like 2 times to check how it looks between.The excess of the paste went a bit out from the sides of aasemblement. My idle temps on 4690k stock 3.5ghz are +/- 27C which to me looks preety good. Should i bother to assemble it again with new thinner layer, or leavy it alone?Paste i used was arctic silver 5 with thermalright macho rev b.

it should be half the size of a pea right in the middle, the pressure of the heatsink will spread it
You need a pea in the middle or a single line spread out thin.
The point of thermal paste is to seal up the tiny gap between surface of cpu and heatsink so heat can transfer away as fast as possible.
Putting a shit load in is not efficient.

so i wanted to look into BSD. Do any of you use BSD? how does it compare to linux? does it have many exploits etc?

bsd is good and now offers pax features. full aslr support and non exec stack, which you should already have. linux has those too. check out the hardenedbsd project to learn more
i should also add that bsd has code from an earlier project called trustedbsd already merged in the source, and has been since around 2004

so /g/ i hear a lot about linux kernel exploits etc and that it technically has more exploits in it than windows
so does anyone have an example of one of these exploits? or maybe a database with known exploits in it etc

If you know what you're doing, just install Windows 10 (includes Windows Defender) + Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (free) and you should be good

We've had so many fucking connector revisions and changes (and complete paradigm shifts) over the years, ata to sata, firewire to thunderbolt, USB to mini, mini to c, vga to dvi to hdmi to displayport, but fucking power connectors? Why are we stuck with this shit?
They're either tight as fuck so when they finally get loose you end up inadvertently punching something or ripping a cable to shit, or so loose that you have to fucking hotglue them.
Why can't we get something basic, same pins (Perhaps one for 3.3v, one for 5 and one for 12, all separated by ground) in an enclosure with some non-shit locking mechanism.
And don't even bring up that SATA shit, they're nice connectors but I've seen too many melt and they just take up space for a smaller application.
