So I got hired by a company to do some contract work as a " computer technician"
All they want me to do is
1 Format Hard Drive
2 Install Windows 7 professional
3 Install Microsoft Office Package 2012
4 Install Free AVG Virus Software
Simple stuff I know how to do, but my question is, how much should I charge them? They want me to do this to 6 laptops. They told me to name my price, I dont wanna come off as stingy, but I also don't wanna get underpaid

Hold the fuck up, OP. This sound suspiciously similar to emails I used to get back when I advertised for computer repair services on craigslist. Whenever I would respond to them, I would get a message back saying they would send the laptops to me, and I would have to send them back, and they asked for my credit card info or some shit. It was an obvious scam, since I was sent essentially the same message three times from three different people.
pushbullet was literally the BEST app and then they decided to go full jew... are there any similar apps that aren't garbage?

I just downloaded speccy, is it broken? It says my cpu temp is 60-70C and it says I have .8 ghz ram but it's 2.4ghz

Honestly you should try the Nokia N9, you can get one of them for pretty cheap
It's a full GNU/Linux mobile phone that runs everything, has revolutionary UX that no phone today has matched and DOES NOT LAG unlike all options you've listed but the iPhone
It's design is also top notch, symmetrical in all axis and uses a combo of AMOLED + Clearblack that only other phone that uses it is Lumia 950, the whole OS is designed that you can't even distinguish where the screen starts and ends
6p or 5x if you want android and can handle the slighter complexity over iphone. IPhone if you want just werks with not much options.

I'm looking to build my own laptop pretty soon - I've set aside a decent amount of cash (2000 bucks or so) for this, as my current rig has needed a serious upgrade for some time. I use my computer primarily for work and travel a lot, so an actual desktop computer isn't really an option for me. Problem is, although I'm really interested in the idea of building my own laptop, I don't know where to start, or even how possible it is. I've got a lot of tools and the money, I just don't know what parts to get or how to go about this.
Offer a poor idiot some help? Guides and advice on what parts to go for and as far as actual construction goes would be appreciated.

If hes wants a PS4, its gonna be best to get him a PS4 to be honest.
All of his friends are going to be on PS4, he can share games with friends who have PS4's, he knows what he wants.

A big part of gaming for 90 percent of people is being able to play with friends and talk to each other while playing. No one but autists care that much about graphics to not be able to play with friends, especially an 11 year old. Get him a PS4.
