Hand rests are technology.

Post your hand rest of choice for both keyboard and mouse in this thread.

What's the best material? I've been thinking about making myself a custom one out of wood, but I have no idea how to go about it.

You really shouldn't be resting your palms while typing. Not much, anyway.

I have one of those silicone ones.

I like it because if you join both ends you get a dildo.

How many of you guys have managed to install Mac OS on a Windows computer?

Should I know anything before I even start? Is it even possible without a genuine Mac disc?

There are plenty great guides for it, it's not a well controlled process with next to no randomness. Well, depends on your exact hardware, but still.

If you're doing it on a rather common laptop, you may just find a good and precise guide specifically for it.

I remember how happy I was when I got a flip phone back in 08, probably didn't even have more than 256*256 resolution. Now we have phones with 4k screens and shit, it's ridiculous.

theres not much to discuss, if you already have physical access to the machine its game over anyways

It's called single user mode, OP.

Encrypt if you want local security.

The only good non-backdoored drive encryption is on Linux.

mint is a okay distro in general but if your computer is really so old and shitty that it's not worth shelling out for a win7 license then maybe consider LXDE for your desktop environment?
>>
>>51924598
>Software isn't out of date like Debian stable
It's, for most cases, placebo and for others there is backports.
>>

LOL

You're doing it wrong. Windows goes on shitty old boxes that normies use. If I have hardware with actual power, it's Linux all the way.

Will buy any game on steam for someone who can get my R9 Fury to work on a linux distro

So far I've tried both openSUSE and mint, both get an x server error during installation and give me a black screen after installation if I boot with the card plugged in. The card works perfectly in windows. So far I've tried updating the kernel to 4.3.3 which did not solve anything, and was unable to download the drivers since I can't use the OS with the card plugged in. I'm pretty terrible with linux and have mostly no idea what I am doing so please take that in mind when giving me a step by step guide to doing this. I am willing to use any distro, but would prefer mint since I already have that installed (17.3). If you need more information on my system just ask. First person to give me a guide that works can have any game on steam they want, or multiple games with a total of about $60. Or an item off the marketplace if you don't mind waiting for the no-trade period to end. Hopefully its not against the rules to offer a reward for help, but I am just so frustrated right now and haven't gotten any useful help in the past week of trying to fix this shit. Be sure to include your steam name or a junk email in your post so I can contact you

I want to be a linux gamer ;_;

Trying getting a distro that install proprietary drivers out of the box, instead of opensores one.
Maybe manjaro had the drivers out of the box cant remember.
Why would you use AMD card with Linux, it's just pain in the ass?
>>
But you were able to install the OS, right?

Just bought a Zowie FK2, /g/ how'd I do? Should I have gotten the FK1? So far I like it, it's much lighter than I'm used to (used both the M65 and G502 with all possible weights used) but I got fed up having to use the driver utility with my Logitech G502. I read good things about Zowie so figured it'd be worth a try.

Pic related.

My mouse progression went:

>Corsair Vengeance M65
>Logitech G502

Is that the trampstamp one? I think they got rid of that on the latest iteration of the M65, I just picked mine up at MicroCenter today and saw a new looking version of the M65 which made me glad cause I liked the original. Nothing was wrong with the M65 I just like trying out different things, though mine was the first gen/original model with no lights or anything and the logo/text all on the back part.

why having this fucking thread EVERY day?

240V is practically superior to 120V, the reason 120V exists is because the USA had electricity far before Europe, and even when Europe had it WW2 recked it all so we could build more modern infrastructure.
