Hand rests are technology.

Post your hand rest of choice for both keyboard and mouse in this thread.

What's the best material? I've been thinking about making myself a custom one out of wood, but I have no idea how to go about it.

Filco. Hard plastic or sum shit. It's decent

You really shouldn't be resting your palms while typing. Not much, anyway.

I have one of those silicone ones.

I like it because if you join both ends you get a dildo.

I have Ducky's version of that; looks about the same minus the groove in the center.

It keeps sliding around, though, and I've mostly stopped using it when typing. Maybe I should slaughter a mousepad and glue its rubber base into the hand rest. It's pretty comfy when gaming, except for that lack of friction.

Mine has some rubber at the bottom athat stops it from sliding around.

This is a shit thread.
Stop spamming generals, it's a fucking hand rest.
>>
Have that Ducky stitched leather rest. Also having issues with it sliding around, mouse pad idea is a decent idea minus the extra thickness.

Take it as a normal thread then. Makes literally no difference.

If you used one you'd know a hand rest can be more than that.

pressure on your wrists encourages cts

the only thing worse than a keyboard wrist rest is a mouse wrist rest, but both of them are habits that will cause problems sooner

Wait, if I have elevated my mouse platform does it encourage CTS?

I have book under my mouse mat so it stands bit higher and is easier to use.

depends on your arm position. Shouldn't be lower than your mauspad
>>
I have the mousepad with a wrist rest that dips leaving a little hole for your wrist to rest
