Seems mpv became the best video player for desktop and laptop machines.
There is too much htpc forum threads and blog posts about madvr and almost nothing about mpv.

I was wondering wht a good set of 16gigs of ram is that I could pick up for it. I have n lists of items, and these items are not numbers and therefore shouldn't be sorted. First off, this isn't homework (I'm glad those years are long behind me) - it's part of a small side project of mine.var list = [['Alex', 'Toby', 'Kenneth'], ['Fred'], ['Toby', 'Matt']];
In the above example, there are three lists, each with some number of strings. Some of the lists share items that are identical to other lists items, others have unique strings.
I'm looking for an algorithm that will take one item from each list, and result in a list with as few unique string as possible.
The above example would result in ['Toby', 'Fred'] as both list[0] and list[2] contain 'Toby', and list[1] must use its only item: 'Fred'

I daily drove 2K for quite a while, I still would be if I hadn't switched out the workstation for a newer system running XP.
Still ran fine for my use case, I don't give a fuck about media consumption and I hate the XP interface for the most part. 2K was the apex of the Windows UI, really the only thing I find lacking is a decent search feature.
