/g/ is this it? is there any way to rollback the botnet?
if there isnt a way to roll it back or stop it, can someone paste the info how to disable the botnet parts??
They backported the botnet to earlier versions of Windows. There's no escaping the botnet if you use Windows, plain and simple. Either accept that Microsoft wants you to use 10, or use an OS that isn't a fucking botnet like GNU or *BSD.
>>53652815
You can go back. Its in the settings for windows 10.
>>53652815
That's because you're a retard who didn't disable updates. I'm running 8.1 and never seen any autoupdate ever popup.
Red Hat is basically NSA: The distro.
All you RPM using faggots are backdoored
Prove it.
Not a stupid article, point out where the code has been found.

>People still worrying about botnet OSes
Come on it's 2016, you know that the botnet it's in the hardware now.
>Dell E1705
>Intel Core 2 Duo T7200
>ATI MOBILITY Radeon X1400
>glossy 1920x1200 display
what do I do with this? I'd be a shame to waste it on some light duty server operation
the thing is a literal giant piece of shit. put it back where you found it
sell it senpai
It has good resolution, still good for a dvd/netflix portable screen.

If the graphics card isn't glitchy, you paid the correct amount for that laptop.
Seems like a decent price

Damn, dual gfx card laptop? Only 500? Sounds like a dream to me.
Show of those books gentoomen
I replaced all my physical books with ebooks a few years ago
How old is your CPU /g/?

Too young to penetrate without pertinently damaging her hymen.
Lets talk tablets /g/
Seen a lot of tablet threads today
Forget about android because they are the worst.. take the best of 2 worlds, the iPad Pro and the Surface Pro:
One tries to be professional using a touch friendly environment. The other tries to be touch friendly using a professional environment.
Who will most likely win? Should tablets even exist?
ipad is shit
it's just a bigger ipad with a pencil, and still a shitty OS that can't do simple tasks like download torrents
>>53652144
sounds like you're just mad with apple for some reason
Pixel C because the Play store has the best apps and Android is free software.
So riddle me this, /g/.
Why all the fiddling with open source, why worry with linux when you can just boot Windows?
I'm not trying to troll, I just want to know a legitimate reason why you all try so hard to push an ideology that's just unnecessary. There's already free software, so what if it mines your data, what's wrong with selling yourself as a commodity?
A little insight would be nice, I can see the allure of being able to tweak programs to your liking if they're open source, but why try so hard to make it the norm?
Monopoly is bad
Windows is shite.
>muh nvidia are closed sauce
THANK YOU BASED NVIDIA
http://wccftech.com/nvidia-gameworks-hairworks-github-release/
So does this mean AMD can optimise their drivers for this now? Will there no longer be a penalty to AMD in GoyWorks titles?
WHY IS THIS NOT GETTING MORE ATTENTION
>>53652668
Because this is /g/ and nvidia are evil even if they get every single anon laid.
Ontopic, neat. Thats actualy pretty decent of them.
Anybody else enjoying watching Node hipsters get BTFO by this week's NPM fuck-up?
The story:
> Kik, the smartphone IM company, threatens a random developer so he'll give them control of the 'kik' package name on NPM
> He tells them to fuck off, so they bypass him and get NPM to do the transfer instead
> He thinks this is bullshit, so he deletes all 250 of his other NPM packages
> HALF THE PACKAGES ON NPM BREAK because they depend...

wait why the fuck would un-publishing a package kill live code? Are people using Node.js seriously fucking using third-party hosting for eleven fucking lines of code?
More proof that the Node.js developer community is cancer.
His content can suck, but you can't argue that Linus ins't a good person
Imagine for a moment being a mexican on a cartoon pornography site with strong opinions about youtube computer building "celebrities".

because he takes pictures with mulatto niggers?
I don't mind him. I think he's a bit silly though with how serious he takes himself. What the fuck does his business do? Make YT videos? Lmao
Does AI pose a thread to humanity?
https://twitter.com/TayandYou/status/712742203991261186
>>53651623
No. AI as it stands is nowhere near replicating an actual consciousness. And if it ever gets close to that point, there will and should be massive debate into the morality of creating one.
>>53652996
>debate into the morality of creating one.
this is not eugenics an AI would be a +ve in all respects real life isn't sci-fi.

opinions on this mouse?
I heard the sensors are flawless and I like the ergonomic shape
OP I can confirm that this mouse rules. Bought because I have large hands and that sensor is nice. Despite the gaymen hands rgb LEDs it's comfy and works well.
