so last night i was playing battlefield 4 on my PS4, i was in a party with one other guy when i start to hear a very faint like bass beat coming througb my headset. It slowly hot louder and it turned into a full electronic song. up to this point i thought it was my friend in the party until i muted him for a second and left and joined and the music was still playing the whole time. After i joined back again the music got even worse when it got slightly louder and you could hear something that sounded like people talking in an older movie and then eventually screams and other random and confusing sounds. After this i turned my PS4 off and it stopped when i got back on. Can someone please explain to me what could have happened? thanks /g/

I have all these fucking 1080p videos of AKB48 performing live and they all fucking stutter and it's driving me MAD
I've been fucking with all the settings I can find and the best I can get it is like half a minute of smooth video and then a few frames stutter.
Everything but these AKB videos run perfectly so like holy shit what's wrong
Kodi is the only thing that plays em smoothly but it seems to run a slower framerate than MPC or VLC when they're not stuttering so it must be doing some sort of reclocking bullshit
My computer's not too much of a piece of shit even. i3 6100, 32gb ram, gtx 970, win 7.

okay, so I bought the IdeaPad Y700 (because fuck ThinkPads, and fuck MacBooks), but I'm an OS X user (The Y700 is replacing my shitty 2009 - 2010 white unibody MacBook with Yosemite), and I can't bloody stand Windows AT ALL.
I used to use Linux before I got a MacBook, but it's been so long, I've been thrown out of it, I know shit about Linux now. Last time I used Linux, I remember either always using Debian, Fedora or Ubuntu, but all of those distros has seemingly gone to complete shit
So, what's a good Linux distro that's fast and doesn't have a WM that looks like something that was discarded in the 90's, like Gnome, Cinnamon, XFCE (is it still deprecated? What the fuck), etc.

Hey /g/, I'm building my first computer and would like to see what you guys think. Any criticism or recommendations are good. I also have some questions: 1.) Would a 550 Watt Power Supply be enough and 2.) The Radeon R9 380 says that it has a power connector of 2 x 6-pin and if I'm understanding this correctly, the Video Card plugs into the motherboard. However, the Motherboard on my list doesn't seem to have any 6-pin connectors. I thought this would make them incompatible yet pcpartpicker is saying there is no issue. Can anyone help me understand this better?

I've also tried to send an email to the coders asking where I can buy it, no response.
