I'm in a new city and I'm bringing my thinkpad P50 out to a coffee shop to work tomorrow. What kind of reactions can I expect? Any public thinkpad stories?

OP has Autism and needs a prog language that is as actively hostile towards OOP as he is.

Multi-paradigm languages like D-lang are OK. It's strict OOP languages those are cancer.

I used to work for them in the stores and they're really no different from any other corporation. They're totally not for /g/ or anyone even remotely technologically minded. Their prices, structure, method of operation are totally designed around milking boomers and rich stupid middle aged people.

I now work at the corporate office for geek squad and I can tell you working for them is great, having to deal with them is only a few levels above trying to deal with a bank or something.

Her expression is blank, her eyes are empty, her smile broken.

Her identity swept under the rug, hidden. for no one to ever excavate after years of self abuse and ridicule.

I just installed Slackware in a VM. Installation was a breeze. I wanted to like to like it. I wanted to like it so much. But Jesus, after using Portage and pacman, I can't abide this shit. Just... why?! Thank God I didn't put it on a real machine.

Slackware users: am I missing something here? I wish to be enlightened in the way of Slack. If not, I'll stick with Gentoo...

Slackware ships with a proprietary image viewer. DROPPED
>>
>>55517583
The only think you're missing is the release date and the fact that it wants to stick to it's roots. At the time it came out, nothing had automatic dependency resolution. Nothing had a package manager.

and for what reason does slackware keep living in that stone age?

So /g/ have we figured out what the best browser is?

Firefox is fucking laggy and unresponsive, would be the best if it weren't for the lag.

Opera's UI is cluttered with bull shit, has in-built shit that can not be removed from the tool bar

Chrome is a botnet

Vivaldi is just out of the picture

Is there not one decent browser? For fucks sake

Fuck off i'm using firefox right now. And it lagged, that's what made me make this thread.

I have tried it on my laptop and Desktop, i've re-installed it. Now i just deal with it, as it has the best extensions.

>de-select all the options fixes it
Yeah, that's what you think

So last night I had a quick thread about which is the best 1070 after market model you can get.

For some reason, /g/ decided that shit brands like Gainward and Palit are better than stuff like Asus and Gigabyte?

Were you guys trolling or what?
For the past 5 years I've read nothing but bad stuff about those, like using cheap materials and not binning at all.

Which is the best 1070? Opinions?
