You have been visited by the crossdressing C programmer of Shimoshina Academy!

Good performance, triple indirection, and tail call optimization will come to you, but only if you post "Keep overflowing the stack, Hime!" in this thread.

So I've had a ps4 for about 3 weeks before sparks flew out of the fucking power supply and I've been looking for a replacement power supply but all the ones I can fond for the CUH-1215a model are around $150 and for that price i could buy a refurbished one and switch the profit. I would really appreciate some help with finding one in the $40 range but I can go $50 if I absolutely must.

Is it under warranty?

Hey /g/.

First time putting together a build and wanted some opinion on how I can improve.

Purpose of the build is running GPU and CPU intensive software as I'm not into gaymen that much (only play CSGO or Pay day once in a while).

Chose the 2011-3 socket because I want it to be future proof. Going to use the external monitors I already have.

Thanks

did people actually watercool 960s? I dont see the problem with no water cooling support. hell, that FE cooler has 50% more area than the 960 stock.
>>
>>55515649
noise brother, noise. i don't want any
>>
>>55515686
You won't have any with an aftermarket design. My MSI GTX 980 makes no noise and that takes like 60W more power than the 1060. I bet the average watercooling setup makes more noise.

Wait a second here. Are you rusing me? A water cooling setup costs hundreds of dollars and even a water block costs tons of money, why would anyone put that on a card that costs like 250 bucks?

Fuck parents these days. When I have a kid of my own, they get an n64 and a gameboy advance. Fuck an iPad. Another thing, im teaching my child to use a computer. Im not going to let a school force msoffice down their throat for 5 years. Im teaching my kid how to use a dos machine, teaching them about the hardware, and.how to take it apart/put it back together. Then we'll move up to a newer version of windows. I'll teach them how the GUI works, and once my kid is completely familiar with how computers operate, then ill teach them how to code basic html/vb/c/python. Once they can code, and turn 15, they may have a tablet/smart phone. Untill then they can have a shitty tracphone. End of story.

Im being serious. I want my child to learn how a computer fundamentally works. Not learn to type an essay in ms word. That's easy shit. Not to say I wont introduce the to office tools, but I wouldn't be basing the entire curriculum off of them like some school districts do.

Fingerprinting is a new way of tracking you across websites.
It's being done right now by companies like Google.
Because unlike cookie based tracking you can't defeat it just by disabling cookies.
There is currently NO FOOLPROOF DEFENCE against fingerprinting (except quitting the Internet).

Google's privacy policy states
>Other technologies are used for similar purposes as a cookie on other platforms where cookies are not available or applicable
https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/key-terms/#toc-terms-cookie

ReCAPTCHA probably contains fingerprinting code:
https://archive.is/9K5gs
This means that the majority of 4chan users could be being fingerprinted, and Google might know about your shitposting habits even if cookies are disabled.

Google releases limited hangout of how much they know about you:
https://news.slashdot.org/story/16/06/29/2038257/googles-my-activity-reveals-how-much-it-knows-about-you
>Oh, they're just remembering what YouTube videos I watched, nothing creepy about that, I already knew they were doing it!
>I guess all those people who fear tracking really are just conspiracy theorists!

Daily reminder to do all your Amazon / eBay / LinkedIn / botnet shit in a completely separate browser to your Googling or buying shit.
It's currently the ONLY way to truly defend against fingerprint tracking.
Double points if you have each browser running in a different VM with a different OS.
Triple points if you have each browser's VM configured with a different VPN connection.

It's good to see people are doing something about this

What's the best VM software to use?
VirtualBox is incompatible with my computer's kernel version for some reason.
