Got a question if there is any audiophiles in here.
I have 2 x KRK Rokit RP6 G3 Monitor Speakers.
I have them plugged into a http://uk.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-audigy-rx using a 3.5mm jack to RCA.
There is static coming through them and i was wondering if there is any possible solutions to eliminate this static. I don't know much about audio but maybe a DAC could help and i get rid of my soundcard? I don't know.
Any help appreciated.

I bought an rtl-sdr a few weeks ago and set up an ADS-B receiver to track aircraft in my area. I'm using the stock antenna I got with it, and with that I'm able to track aircraft over 150 miles away.
I'm using dump1090-mutability and virtual radar server to do this.

any tips on how on how to keep programming/learning more? I want to keep programming and getting better and better but I feel like I've reached a cap and with nothing to do it's just boring. Any ideas? I can program in Java (android), C# and Javascript.
learn how to optimize your code. Example: Where would you initializing a variable for use inside a loop? Outside vs Inside make a difference.
Example: Processing from a text file. Do you read one line at a time, processing as you go or do you read the whole file into a buffer and process on the whole thing?

Hey /g/ I am upgrading an old PC that I have laying around so that I can use it with my TV.
I was thinking of a simpler OS than Windows, or something more TV friendly. The consoles have a cool YouTube app and I would love to have something similar on PC.

The number of people who hot swap batteries, and keep the same device 5+ years is tiny. eMMC has a finite lifespan, and it will start significantly degrading by the time the battery is dwindling as well, the same is likely true of the display panel. If you wanted a fully featured high end mobile device to last a decade it would be too expensive, and you'd be complaining about the price instead of the specs then.
A user friendly replaceable battery is something only autists make a big deal over. You retards are literally incapable of being happy with anything.
