I'm just about to build a pc, and I'm not sure what sort of monitor I should get, should I go for Ips 4K or 1440p 144hz. The thing is this isn't going to be a much of a gaming build, as I have uni starting up soon and I'm going to really focus on studying(with gaming on the side) . Would I find more productive value in a 4K or a 1440p monitor?

Hey, I think my power supply keeps overheating but im not sure. I already ruined one graphics card. Which I thought was just he card overheating, but now after getting a new card and the same thing happening (power supply box getting really hot, also gfx card getting hot and eventually shutting down my computer)
Is there anyway to know if the power supply is starting to go? Or know for sure its my power supply? I ran the same setup for well over 2 years with no issues, then one day the card / supply started getting really hot , but only when I play graphic intensive games, which I used to play no prob.
Anyone had this happen or know if it might be something other then power supply? Thanks.
