What if people made bots that constantly searched Google, Bing, yahoo, etc with search terms related to child pornography? What effect would this have on the NSA / PRISM? Would they eventually stop looking at / collecting data?
Google would block the bots.
You'd have to control a botnet or spread a virus that gives google a low-level of search requests for things on the NSA's trigger lists (which are not CP related, the NSA concentrates on terrorism, not crime in general), and spread it so you can't block it without blocking many actual users.

Swapped out the antenna, replaced the firmware with custom image, installed exhaust fan to remove the heat and it's been good for years.

First download recovery for you're device and extract recovery.img from that zip in your SD card.
Then enter this in terminal emulatorls -al /dev/block/partition/platform/sprd-sdhci.3/by-name
If your device isn't spreadtrum shit like mine, modify sprd-sdchi.3 to what I'd relevant.
See output, this line in particular which says something likeRECOVERY -> /dev/block/mmcblk0p18
This is your recovery partition.
Then enter this in terminal emulator with reference to above recovery partition.dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18
You're done.
Remember to download recovery for **your** device. Other won't work even if the devices may look similar.
