What are you working on?
Think logically - use Prolog.
How long does it take for me to be able to feel confident about programming?
I think I'm too stupid to make it.

Sounds like an iToy is more up your alley desu senpai.
I have been considering getting this phone as an upgrade from my moto g 2014.
Get a Nexus6 instead.
>>51254270
I really like mine. Have gotten a bit of lag when multitasking but overall it's been really smooth, the fingerprint sensor is great and the size is good for using with one hand.
And hopefully this will get as much dev support as the nexus 5 with lots of Custom Rom options and such.
>>51254270
The 5x gets looked over a lot for the 6P but it really is a good phone.
I love mine.
I'd like to invite you to help me start a business venture. As we all know personal trading of Steam Keys can be very dangerous, and always involves some sort of trust; via "reputation" or some other excuse. I'd like your help to design a website that will enable users to safely trade keys without fear of being scammed. In other words, each user will choose what game their key is for, and input their key into a text log, and the system will validate the key, if both keys validate successfully they are sent to one another. Obviously there will have to be negotiating...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Seems to have some value. Not too hard to build. Still not worth my time.
>>51254016
Anyone who helps with the project will continually receive a share of the profits for the rest of the system's existence.
My dad works at Valve Corp, I may be able to help you with this.
How much of a difference would putting a fan on the back of a gpu make?
In battlefield 4 I notice it gets up to 80 degrees, but also the back of the gpu gets really hot too. So cooling the back with my old intel fan should make a difference, right?
Pic related is my old gpu, my current gpu is still inside my pc. Just took this for reference.

wouldn't that blow hot air across your cpu...?
I've finally had enough of sucking Apple's dick; El Capitan is even less stable than Yosemite and daily kernel panics are driving me nuts.
I'm now looking at switching to Linux; GNOME 3.x looks very nice but I'm having some trouble finding a good distro. Ubuntu GNOME is actually not bad.
However I have a bit of an issue, how do I update GNOME? I think this is behind because gedit looks like the pre 3.12 version. The release notes show a much nicer GUI: https://help.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.12/
Is it possible to just get a GNOME-based distro that's updated often? The current version is 3.18 and I may be running 3.10!
GNOME works with Gentoo... Is that a serious option /g/? I know very little about Linux but would like to learn more
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/GNOME/Guide
>>51253754
If you want to learn more install arch, not gentoo...
>>51253766
Is Arch stable enough for daily use?
Well, more stable than OS X which probably isn't that hard.
The other option is actually i3 but I found it difficult to find software that plays nicely with it. I'd suspect most tiling WMs are the same?

This. If the i-5 can fit 5 audios, the i-7 can fit 7 audios, allowing you to produce 40% more audio.
Hey O/g/'s.
I need some advice regarding wifi range extension.
I work from home in my spare time but recently got an overnight job as a fireman. It only pays 15$ an hour however it requires me to stay awake. I figure i can put in my time at night (programmer) and get an hourly wage to boot.
>what's the catch?
Shitty internet.
The building is only 300meters from my house.
What setup would i need to send my personal wifi signal to this building? And what would i need to receive and send the signal from my laptop.
I don't know if it would be possible to erect any permanent or semi permanent structure at the firehouse such as pic related however it is not out of the question either.
As far as I'm concerned the smaller and more portable the better and price isn't an issue. (within reason for a middle class income)
>>51253123
You don't really need internet desu.
Just a text editor, the API/library documentation and the compiler.
I should also mention that I am willing to get a new laptop if necessary for specific parts.
Been thinking about an upgrade for some time.
>>51253123
>The building is only 300meters from my house.
Run multi-mode fibre.
Give me one reason to use node over php for my next web application?
Use python instead. It's better than both.
