Its one of the many things that Anonymous and Chanology ruined forever.
I had been using Adblock (the one from getadblock dot com) till recently because it worked for me and I didn't see a reason to switch to ABP. Then, both ABP and regular Adblock joined the Acceptable Ads program. Now I'm on uBlock Origin because I heard it's better than regular uBlock, but I don't know why. I mean, I heard one of the devs moved from the regular uBlock to start Origin, but I don't know if that makes it a better product.

ublock origin exists because the original dev of ublock didn't want the attention so gave it to the first person who asked for it, which proceeded to do nothing with the project while asking for donations so the original dev came back with ublock origin (new name because he gave up the original project) - plain old ublock is now defunct as the guy who took it over clearly wanted nothing more than donations (and/or to sell it)
ublock origin is technically the best blocker we have, even adblock edge (a fork of adblock plus without acceptable ads) even discontinued itself in favour of ublock origin, but whether or not the dev of ublock origin will pull any more stupid stunts remains to be seen

Just use your HOSTS file. Ad-blocking extensions eat up resources, and they're doing the exact same thing that your system is already capable of doing without an extension. Plus blocking ads through your HOSTS file can't be detected.

I update mine maybe once every six months. You really don't need to update it that often. I've never once seen an ad in the 10 or so years I've been blocking ads this way.

This is my first time ever to make a thread and to actually post on this board but I was suggested to come here for technical help which is why I'm here.
I have two power surge protectors that I got from a friend that was moving out but the problem is that I don't know which is better to use.
One is a six outlet that is made by RCA and the other is a seven outlet including the reset or off flip and as well a one line modem protection which is made by cyberpower.
I have my xbox 360 slim, flat screen tv from sanyo and a modem from cox which will all be connected.
I know I sound like a newfag but I am and I'm not that too familiar with the two companies so here is a pic of the two power surge protectors I have.
Just plug your shit in and use it. They will both do the same job.

They were a threat to Microsoft incursion in the mobile industry so they sent a undercover CEO to fuck their shit up, force being bought for pennies and completely dismantle and cripple their mobile division while using their name to bruteforce their subpar product into the market. Good old MS' embrace-extend-extinguish but applied in a large scale.
Their strength was rugged indestructible phones for practical people. Even their early smartphones like the N73 were tough as hell. Then they just became yet another boring phone company making fragile bricks.

It will get release, a few YouTubers will do some stupid voices whilst playing, kids will want them.

The companies will realise this, release them at a decent consumer price and a few games will support it.
It will go all the way but it will take a while. This wave might not do it.

Different tools for different jobs.
Mathematica is good when you need to do a lot of symbolic numerical analysis, calculus, what have you.
MATLAB is better for big data number crunching, prototyping, plotting, and numerical approximation.
That being said I'm pretty damn good at MATLAB, but I've only used Mathematica once or twice.
