How do you feel about HP Instant Ink?

Basically, for a monthly fee, HP will replenish ink cartridges whenever the ink runs out.

You will be limited to 50 to 300 pages ($3/mo or $10/mo plan) per month though, and you will be charged 4 cents per page for any additional pages you print.

Also, HP botnet will know how many pages you print (but most of HP's large corporate customers are already on the botnet plan, so only thing that's new is that home users are now being invited into the scheme).

I don't do botnet.

I don't print very often, like once a month, and if I do, I just go to the library

Who prints outside of a business setting besides dinosaurs and people up their own ass in legal trouble

Well it was the last thing intel put out while they still had competition. They're going for $100 on ebay at the moment.

Hi /g/.
I've decided to start learning a different programming language, C++, for my daily use. What can I expect? Any tips? My background originally is in C# .NET, but with the direction Microsoft is going in, I'd rather not stick with it. As an extension to C++, I'm probably going to focus on using the Qt framework for my gui needs.

Also, thinly veiled KDE thread. Discuss your C++/Qt/KDE related development here.

So, eurocuck reporting in.
Just wondering if anyone here knows in detail this shitty "cookie law". In particular, I'd like to know what am I supposed to add to my website (banner, popup, a very long and boring disclaimer...) if I used just two google fonts and a google map embedded in the contacts page.

I don't think you need to add anything as long as you don't set any cookies yourself.

There are (free) services that check the website for you.
You might want to try out

for example.

I'd like to interject for a moment
What you're referring to as the cloud is in fact someone else's computer, or how I've taken it to call it, botnet plus someone else's computer
There is no cloud, and you're not using it, you're just using someone elses computer to store all your data

Hello /g/.

I've finally got my first paycheck and I've set aside a little cash to purchase a new video card for my aging machine I bought when I was a fucking idiot.

I've set aside about 450 pounds to purchase a new GPU.

What would /g/ get?

>>54788797

Wait for the GTX 1080 or the R9 490, dont buy like a 980 or anything like that, as the prices will drop after the 1080 comes out. Wait until about late June if you're buying a video card.

That's solid advice. Unfortunately my HD5800's are about to melt down and I'm having serious problems with them at the moment.

Need to upgrade as soon as possible.
