Starting my first year of Software Engineering on March. How would you use the time until then to get a head start?
Learn data structures and do some light java coding. That'll take you through junior year.
>>52093240

i wasted 3 years on semi-useless degree before i realised college ain't the time for drinking and blowing chicks
>>52093261
I've already been doing some Java coding, mostly Android apps, but also scripting certain tasks to save time. I'll look into data structures

Which email provider does /g/ use? My mail.com account is compromised and need a new account.
>>52092925
My old university (alumni account) for personal stuff, gmail for shit and another gmail for work
>>52092936
I have one gmail account, do they still have that shit where you have to make a Google account and it's all linked to that and YouTube? I just need a standalone email.
>>52092969
Everything Google is one account now, just make an account and don't touch anything else with it.
>(...) and that is occurring against the background of the utter failure of counter-crunch technologies such as spectrum sharing and localized grid selection. The Spectrum Crunch is a real problem that is being so far completely ignored by experts, governments, and the public at large. And precisely because of that, it is railroaded to bring about the collapse of every system dependent on wireless communication, which is to say, the entire modern world. The Millennium Bug will seem like a hilarious reminiscence in comparison.

explain please
If you're using Linux, you should be using Xubuntu, Arch w/ XFCE, or any distro with a tiling WM. Everything else is pointless.
Prove me wrong (protip: you can't).
This is a nice post. Thanks OP.
The whole fucking appeal of lunix is freedom of choice.
Go choke on a bag of dicks you dumb faggot.

Sup /g/. I spilled mountain dew on my new k70. It was mostly on the number pad but a little on other parts too. Anyways, right after I spilt it I unplugged it then wiped it off. When I plugged it back in the period key on the num pad was spazzing out. And when I press 3 on the num pad it also presses the period key as well. Already stripped off all keys. What do?

Sorry mate, but that sounds like you have to get yourself a new one..

Flip it upside down and let it dry for a day or two. Maybe try adding some rice.
peanut butter helps dry stuff out.
Have ever used one of your older GPU as a dedicated PhysX card?
Describe your experience.
Using poetry.
No because that's fucking stupid.
>>52092728
Would it not be a good way to use your previous GPU after upgrading?
I may or may not have done this before.
But who am I to confuse you?
Truth be told, it may not be worth it.
Take your time, take it easy.
Forever, am I sleepy.
is modern technology making us stupid, /g/?

Do any in /g/ use a ROM of Android?
No. Not a one.
>mfw when I see bad sentence syntax
Is a game ROM literally a copy of all the contents of a cartridge or equivalent?
It's a new, rewritten product
In the case of the N64, I think it is the contents of the ROM chip that holds the actual game data. I think there is at least one more chip sometimes present that holds game saves because the N64 emulator saves certain save types as .eeprom
It might be slightly modified to be able to be ran on other hardware.
