Alright goys, lets put this discussion to rest once and for all.
I know that "pros" like to use extremely low dpi settings like 400 and 800 but I have tried this and its so fucking slow.
:
1. You tire more easily (inb4 hurr durr fatty can't move mouse, no its just more work for nothing
2. Need more time to do a movement compared to higher dpi setting. In an fps setting for example, the other guy has aimed at your head and is firing at you by the time you aim at him. Of course there are things that can be done like preaiming but still this is a disadvantage.
The only actual argument for low dpi is more precision, but really precision can be learned at a higher dpi as well, I'm not saying something insane but higher than 400-800 definitely
The 400-800 dpi meme needs to die /g/. Thoughts? What would you reccomend for a dpi setting and why? Let's say 1080p

But the reason they use low DPIs is they want their first shot to hit, even if it's a little slower.

Intended for users of all levels, including absolute beginners.

There are three ways to try Linux, you can:

1) Install a Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
2) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full Linux experience".
3) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with Linux (not recommended)

If you are serious about switching to Linux and if you have Windows dual-booted (recommended for pure newbies),
we recommend you use it exclusively for 2 weeks, and avoid Windows dual booting for that period of time, or it's
likely you will start retreating back to windows instead of getting used to GNU/Linux as your new home and working on
making it feel the way you want it.

>Recommended for beginners:
-Ubuntu MATE
-Debian (For Broadcom devices, use an ISO that includes non-free firmware)
-openSUSE
-LinuxMint (a.k.a Ubuntu LTS + Cinnamon)

Before asking, please find the answers to your questions in resources.

Maybe you can enlighten me, but why the hell do you guys buy these big ass bulky coolers for your CPUs? I mean, in my experience the stock OEM cooler has always been more than sufficient to keep the CPU cool unless you are overclocking to retarded levels. Doesn't those big ass coolers fuck with the air flow in the case?

So Gentoo & Arch users, i guess you like tinkering and are quite tech savvy...
Why not use NetBSD?
It is bloat free, easy to compile and configure.
We should get hardware support up to date and documentation/man pages to FreeBSD/OpenBSD levels.

Ok.
Whatever.

Why use NetBSD when FreeBSD exists?
>>
>>52101662
I do.
The man pages are already at least on FreeBSD levels. More hardware support other than CPU platforms would be nice tho,
