The Asus Maximus Formula was the first high-end motherboard I bought there in 2008. He used an Intel Dual Core E7200 with a Geforce 8600 and 4GB memory. Then it was mutating to a Quad Core 6600 and 8GB of RAM.

>>
I'm using a mid-range motherboard from 2007.
>>
I don't know if it's considered high end but I have an asus p5q-e with an e8400 duocore overclocked to 3.9ghz and it's worked fine since I bought it around 2008-9

I want to create a script in a game with OCR but I am SERIOUSLY noob and I can't do it at all

Anybody here could do it for me? (I suppose my gratitude doesn't count)

>>
Here is how it would go

This is the mission board, I want it to select only missions I would like

Keyword : discreet

So a mission with discreet would be selected, aka : press Space / press left arrow / press Space. That's all

The only thing I cannot do is the selection, that is to tell the script to scan the screen ( or a region of the screen ) for that keyword.

I know it's possible
>>
>>52085282
Have you tried google?
>>
>>52085314

I have. like I said in the first post, I'm noob, I can't code for shit

I have downloaded autohotkey and a macro soft, I can create the script around, but the OCR part is too much difficult for me.

This is purely hypothetical.

Could a single person DDOS 4chan and block it completely ?

If not then how many people are required ?

denandz just posted a tool in github that can break your KeePass password safe. Yeah, as they say, for the lulz, Anti-hacking tools (or teams like Hacking Team) are now getting hacked.

Rightly so, this tool is named KeeFarce. It allows extraction of KeePass 2.x password database information from memory. The cleartext information, including usernames, passwords, notes and url’s are dumped into a CSV file in %AppData%.

URL: https://github.com/denandz/KeeFarce

KeePass provides process memory protection that encrypts master password keys and other sensitive data when stored in computer memory. That system goes a long way to preventing malicious apps from scraping random access memory and retrieving the credentials. KeeFarce obtains passwords using a different technique, known as DLL injection. The injected dynamic link library code calls an existing KeePass export method to copy the contents of a currently open database to a CSV file. The resulting file contains user names, passwords, notes, and URLs all in cleartext.

>most of my fellow cs grads are retarded gamers who hate math and couldn't prove bubble sort even if their lives depended upon it
how common is this?
42 posts and 5 images submitted.
>>
It's pretty common. There's definitely a misconception that once you have a programming degree and/or some experience, you would be able to get hired by a game company to make and play games n shit.
I've never done it, but game development is very different than anything core they teach you in school.
>>
computer science sounds like you'd do computer stuff, "gamers" usually think they're good with computer stuff
>>
>>52084776
In my experience, most of the kids in my CS classes that spend all their time on the computer playing games are the best in the class. I think having all that experience with using computers whether it's programming related or not really gives you an advantage. It did for me, anyway. I picked up on a lot of the stuff we learned faster than most of the 'normal' kids who didn't spend all their time at the computer.

What's the point of fanless laptops wont they just overheat fast?
19 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
The point is to have a winter heater.
>>
>>52084384
Fanless laptops are made with low power CPUs. They'll get warm but they're not meant to be rendering videos or playing games anyway.
>>
Think of them as tablets with a keyboard

My brother wants a pc so he can use unreal engine 4 and other 3d programs, thing is, prices are insane when it comes to Intel (Xenon) and Workstation GPUs, so i was thinking, a gaming gpu, 8gb ram and something like i5 or i7, would it be good enough to use programs like Ue4, Maya, etc?
So, i'm BR, it would be nice to have other Brazilians to discuss when we talk about prices. His budget go to 3k at max, (a hundred more or so would be okay) Can you guys help me?

>>
Yeah a gaming GPU would be fine.
Be very careful with nvidia GPUs though, their high end cards have very little DP performance, they tuned for gaming.

Should I go with the fx 8320 or the i3-6100? I've heard there simiarly powered, and the skylake board has does have a future, unlike the AM3+. but then again the fx does have overclocking potential.....

Honestly, I'd save up money for an i7
>>
Save up for an i5, even if it's a fairly low end i5.

You'll regret the 8320.

Did a deleted file ever end up back in your recycle bin after you emptied it?
>>
Well it does permanently remove files from the recycle bin.

Where does it say it removes them from the disk?
All it says is it frees disk space, which is also true, the disk space is now allocatable.
>>

It says removes from the recycle bin, not zeroes your harddrive

What's your thoughts on compact PC's , you know , console PC's?

I think Valve started this with the SteamBox but they can run Windows 10 + Steam Big Picture Mode. There's already Alienware Steam Machines in Gamestop starting at $449

I think it's great for gaming. It will light a fire under Microsoft , Sony and Nintendo with their AMD parts.

I prefer DIY, more room in there for better airflow and more flexible when it comes to upgrading.

Hell even building your own mini ITX sounds like a better idea. At the very least you know precisely what goes in there, especially the PSU.

I raged so hard a week ago when captcha asked me to pick out all images with sandwiches, despite there being none. After several tries I realized that it wanted me to click on images of hamburgers. I want to personally castrate the person at Google who set that up.
