Have you ever donated real world money to some software project?

I donated 10 euro a couple of times to Vim, FSF, OpenSSH and GPG. I want to keep doing it monthly. However I don't use PayPal or a credit card, so I need to figure out a way to do it via bank trasnfer.

On a secondary note, according the bureau of labor statistics, IT is growing a much faster rate than programming jobs are.
Example: computer systems analyst (what i will be doing soon, im an IT/bus. Minor student) has expected growth of 20% or so over the next 10 years or so
Computer programmers recently changed projections from 8% growth to NEGATIVE 8% GROWTH (decline) over the next 10 years or so

I would like to do some dabbling in photoshop. I don't need to spend $100 on this or anything crazy and I am NOT using NAS+Software sync {cloud} to do image editing.
Besides GIMP, what decent solutions are there for relatively good image editing solutions? I like adobe's styles and menus but at the face of their website they try to sell you on cloud.

Adobe will give you a free legit copy of CS2 on their website. It's fine for most functions.
It's only supposed to be for people who bought a copy of cs2, but since they took down their verification servers they just put up universal cd keys.

GIMP's has never been the problem, it's the people who already know Photoshop and try to use GIMP expecting no learning curve who are the problem. If you start with GIMP, you will not have the problem.

Hey /g/ I'm currently learning C++ using Bucky's (thenewboston on Youtube) guides, and it's pretty good so far. What other resources do you guys recommend for self-teaching after I finish that?
Another question, I'm using Code::Blocks as an IDE, but I prefer Visual Express 2013. However, whenever I develop a Console32 program, it doesn't seem to like compiling my code in pic-related. Why is this? Can anyone advise?
