Is it possible/legal to make a router that transmits 4G signals that allows mobile devices to connect through 4G, and uses your own wired network for internet connectivity?

How much longer is SATA going to last /g/?

The same physical ports have been widely used since 2005.

Could they upgrade the spec even more while still maintaining SATA 1,2 and 3 compatibility?

>>
>tfw didn't start using SATA until 2012
>>
>>52099079
Sata will last for at least another 10 years, because of how common it is. It also offers all the speed disk drives could ever ask for. As disk drives slowly move to obsolescence, SATA will die with them.

As far as SSDs are concerned, the Industry is moving quickly to switch over to the PCIe interface, because SATA development advances so slowly. I predict, that in a few years, SATA SSDs will only be made for compatibility reasons.

Until after hard disks becomes obsolete, since hard disks are throttled by their own mechanical speed and latency.

Would rather just keep music in original cd's or put them as mp3/aac. I'm satisfied with those formats, why inflate my files to use up my space for no reason? I would rather just convert all my images to .bmp and waste my drive space that way.
>>
>>52099094

Also most burning programs I use don't accept flacs. So when I do want to whip up a cd or album to put into my phone I need to waste my time converting to useable format.

Hey guys

https://install-logos.github.io/

This project seems great, but the link for the iso is dead. How can I get it ? It looks cool.

Also, is it finished ?

>>
>https://install-logos.github.io/
I have studied why the other OS developed by /g/ failed. Technically, most of them, if not all, were parochially successful with a few stable .iso releases but they failed to leave prints on the sands of time. Lo/g/os cannot be another Jiyuu or Clover OS, which failed because they have nothing to offer: merely changing the name, logo and adding a few bloatwares is plagiarism and ultimately meaningless.

Here is the "todo" file

>decide on which direction [Debian, Red Hat, Arch Linux, LFS] - Decided: Arch
>decide on package manager [pacman, rpm, apt-get] - Decided: pacman
>decide window manager [i3-wm] - Decided: i3
>decide on which packages [tox] - Decided: firefox, ffmpeg, mpd, ncmpcpp, mpv

>Current Outline:
>Modify packages.build and airootfs for default installed software, configs
>Create script to do additional installation as well as selection of machine specific drivers, e.g. nvidia or amd

what else has to be done ?

Just got an SSD today, is it true you have to leave about 20% of the SSD's capactiy free for it to perform?

pic unrelated.

I don't know anything about computers but my friends have told me it lowers your write speed the less capacity you have on your SSD , is it bullshit?

I really doubt north Korea has technical capability to build something like that on top of linux.
