Actually I just use vanilla MPC-HC without any of that shit. Works great.

The thing can dual boot and run Android VM or say Bluestack, so couldn't you just install Console OS onto SP4 in order to one-up the iPad Pro shills once and for all?

It's a PC for fuck's sake. Come to think of it, somebody WILL install Gentoo on it sooner or later.

why would you cripple a surfce pro by putting android on it?

Install OS X in a VM and run the iPad simulator in Xcode.

Despite all the SJW and the performance gap against chrome, tab groups was the only reason I sticked with Firefox for so long.

>twf firefox devs remove a "niche feature" on their now niche browser.

I hate the UI of chrome/chromium, so I guess I'm gonna start using Opera.

Holy shit I bailed out of that sinking ship just in time. Palemoon for fucking life. Been using it for like 2 months now, never going back to Firefox, especially with this latest news. Next they'll be removing Live Bookmarks because it's too niche. What fucking cocksuckers.

Good read, I particularly liked the last bit

>what happens if the algorithmic problems facing the attackers aren't actually the algorithmic problems we're studying? In particular, what happens if the attack problems are easier than the problems we're studying?
>Maybe we're starting from the wrong cost metric for algorithms. For example, maybe we're using the oversimplified "operations" cost metric that I mentioned before, counting random access to a large array as a single "operation" when in fact it's much more expensive than an arithmetic operation. (Sometimes people say that counting "operations" is an underestimate of actual cost and is therefore safe; but this is part of what went wrong with the Silverman predictions.) Maybe we're optimizing algorithms for mass-market easy-to-program Intel CPUs, while the attacker is optimizing for special-purpose chips with much more parallelism and with fancy networks on chip. Maybe the attacker has a quantum computer, making some operations feasible while we normally think of those operations as being insanely expensive.
>Or maybe we're setting our cost limits too low. Maybe we're studying the problem of setting public factorization records using academic computer clusters, while the attacker is studying the problem of factoring 1024-bit keys as quickly as possible using billion-dollar clusters.
>Or maybe, in an effort to advertise attractively simple problems, we've oversimplified the problem of attacking the actual cryptosystem. Maybe we're studying the problem of recovering a signature key while the attacker is studying the actual problem of forging signatures. Maybe we're studying the problem of attacking one key while the attacker is studying the actual problem of attacking a large batch of keys. This oversimplification is surprisingly common, and is exactly the reason for this blog post.

It's my dedicated 4chan/misc browsing. Can easily hold a shit load of tabs, easy to save images (ctrl + click). I also like the drag to open in new tab function, like someone recommends something, just select the name and drag it and it quickly search/open it in a new tab.

No sqt so here's my question:
I just built a pc, and it won't boot. I press the power button and the fans spin for a split second and then nothing happens. The leds on my motherboard stay on though.
What should I rma?
I've checked and reseated all wires/ram/cpu, have torn it down to the bare minimum, and have made sure my cpu has no bent pins. Have taken my mobo out and put it on cardboard to make sure it wasn't getting shorted.

You couldn't even properly paste the OP. Did you check your case? I had a similar problem once and the issue was the power connection on the case itself.

Post your simple/small/stupid questions here, ONCE.

It responds to me pressing the power button on my case, but how would I check that otherwise?

I need to RMA my RAM, but I don't have the original packaging. The email containing the RMA said
>"Packing envelopes is not adequate packaging, as the envelope does not provide protection during transit. A shipping box with adequate packaging material should be used for the return shipping of the hardware"
What would be "adequate packaging"? I was planning on putting the RAM sticks in an antistatic bag, which would be placed inside of a padded envelope, then putting it inside of a regular box. Is that not adequate? What would you guys recommend?

apparently this phone will last another good 3 years, it's running the latest iOS with no lags, the build quality can be compared to a tank, never used cases, droped several times and nothing happened.

the battery obviously shited itself, now I got another one for dirty cheap so I can fully enjoy the next 3 years. Looks like my next iPhone will be the 8.

I'm wondering if any 3 year old android phone is running Android M
