Razer switches are better than rubber dome, but you could get a Cherry MX Blue mechanical keyboard for about the same price. Razer switchs are less consistent and wear out faster than their Cherry MX "counterparts" in my experience.
If you got it as a gift and didn't buy it yourself, you should be fine.
Why not /g/? You just hate windows anyway, and since you're all hipsters it would be great alternative to linux on which you can't do shit.

I actually really liked my Hackintosh build but ended up back in Windows because OSX has shit gaming performance and mousefeel.
I taught it would be a good idea to start a thread for the discussion of open source/ "free" software.
We have a lot of open source projects now and our obsession is now moving to the hardware world, thanks to open source 3d printers and CNC machine's. We now for example have Arduino, Novena (complete open hardware laptop) and you also have the Open Source Ecology project which aims to make all sorts of things open source.
Also what is new are projects to make the government more open and use open data.
It al made me think of a future where everything is open source, an utopian dream, no product will have features bad for the consumer (no planned obscelesence, no backdoor's and spying feutures), decentralised production of goods (things will no longer have to come from China, you will just be able to get goods from decentralised fabrication places), open democracy ( you canworld? and discuss with government on the internet/ rather than voting on a president every 4 year you can vote for legislations every day), faster innovation (no patents blocking innovation), scalable (if we reach space than we only need some tools and the internet and then we can start building there).
Is open source gonna save us?
How will open source change the world?
Or am I just a freetard and are Microsoft, NSA, Google and Facebook the good guys?

I have no idea how it works, what it does, what to type, and what the performance implications of the functions are, but with enough trial and error of the braces, dependency injections and scopes it'll finally end up as a working website.

If all you do is office work, browse internet. WinDOS10 is fine.
Linux is built for people who actually want to learn how your computer works, and why it works that way. If all you care about is *doing things on your computer*, then just stick with windows.
Depends what you want to do. If you are already comfy in Linux and don't know why you would need Windows then you probably don't need Windows.
