I think they are full of shit and the BIOS may report 8GB but when you actually run anything that uses more than 4Gb it's gonna crash and burn.

I almost instantly get an allergic reaction whenever I touch my mother's IPAD...even with the protective case on.

I'd like to replace my nexus 7 with something larger. Around 9~10 inch. I never had any allergic problems with my nexus 7 and I was wondering if there were other android tablets out there not made with metal casings.

So my amplifier blew up, and while I technically could change the blown transistors (assuming i can find them), I might as well upgrade.
This old amp was a Creek CAS 4040 and it was okay, but i'd like something better. I guess my budget would be around max ~300$USD, it needs to drive two B&W D601 and i wouldn't mind it having a decent headphone amp so i don't have to use a separate one for my K712s, but it's not a fundamental requirement.
There was also a problem with noise coming from the electrical outlet, how can I circumvent that?...
