If you have to ask if something is a good purchase you've already answered your own question.

what are amazon reviews
>>
>>55424895
I don't understand that logic. Are you claiming I can't afford it, or that I must subconsciously know it is not a good choice?

I intend to buy a drone and this is the one I am leaning towards, but reviews are all over the place. It is hard to tell which one is accurate.

Do you have an opinion of this one? Or have you flown it? Or do you know one that is a better value?

I thought so too but it didn't seem to do anything other than prevent me from fucking accessing the 128gb SDcard on my PC or saving to it directly on the device itself via rooted file manager etc etc

Lenovo Rocked By Critical BIOS Vulnerability, Fingers Point To Shoddy Intel Reference Code

Lenovo is finding itself embroiled in yet another security scandal, and this time it revolves around the BIOS used in many of its PC systems. According to security researcher Dmytro Oleksiuk (aka Cr4sh), the vulnerability lies in the SystemSmmRuntimeRt UEFI driver component of Lenovo’s firmware. Oleksiuk claims that the exploit is present in every ThinkPad machine dating back as far as the X220 and as recently as the T450s.

What to do when Microsoft stops windows 7 support in 2020?

I really dislike Apple but they seem to be the runner up in available software.

Pic very fucking related.

I tried software to stop the communication but it's not possible to block 100%, and keeping it blocked after the unwanted updates.

There's a store near me selling an Asus T100 for $100. Specs aren't great but it's a full laptop and tablet with 10-12 hours of battery life.
>IPS screen
>2gb ram
>32 GB DDR
>Intel Atom Z3775

I already have a T530 as my main machine. This would be to have a long battery general browser that fits in a small bag.

The issue is that the reviews are evenly split on it being utter rubbish and actually decent. Do I do it /g/?

DDR should have been ssd. Autocorrect yo.
>>
>>55424416
Man you need to understand that it is not a surface pro.
I hate a similar laptop-tablet and is good to watch porn and YouTube videos in bed. Edge browser is your best option for browsing the Web, any other browser will lag. Cannot browse the Internet with more than a couple of tabs opens. If you need to edit documents get one else get an android tablet, you will get better specs for the same price. Web browsing is not very smooth on this thing.
>>
>32GB DDR
>DDR
you're a fucking retard

anyway, with 2GB ram it's just enough to run a few tabs in a browser, shitpost on 4chan and watch a 720p movie (1080p will probably throttle it but they'll play)

it'll spend most of the time swapping non-existant ram to the slow storage chips (eMMC Flash) so yeah... fucking have fun with that

I've had the same first generation i7 for 6 or 7 years. I've never been tempted to upgrade. This mobo+CPU has outlived 3-4 cycles of other parts.

Serious question, how often do you guys upgrade your CPU/mobo? What theories do you have behind it? When upgrade time comes around I can never justify it. It feels to me like buying the best at the time and forgetting it for 5+ years is a viable CPU solution unlike most other parts.

Personally i upgrade when i feel the need to upgrade. If i notice some of my parts start choking then its a time for upgrade. Definately going to skip a few more generations with my 4790k. if i really need more juice i can OC back to 4.9GHz at 1.35V which will boost me up pretty nicely again. So far i have no need to OC past from stock turbo.
>>

>how often do you guys upgrade your CPU/mobo?
When I need to. I don't play games, so it's a matter on performance of daily activities and some number crunching I do.
>>
>>55424372
ok some might look at me weird but I don't really have anything to do besides my job and playing soccer so I upgrade my PC in one way or another every few months.

Are fast SD cards about yields or is it about the manufacturing hardware being expensive?

>>
>>55424336
It's about profits, just make 1000000 SD cards for low manufacturing cost, install speed limits on most sell unlimited ones for silly money.

How is the battery life on the original moto g? I like how it has both a removable battery and microsd slot, something the other versions lack.

The original moto g doesn't have a removable battery or micro SD Card, from the second gen up they had micro SD support
>>
>>55424452
wrong. the 4g variant of the original moto g had mSD support.

and the battery is technically removable. just need a screwdriver and shit. never needed to take it out, so don't know the procedure off the top of my head.
