What are you working on, /g/?

Negotiate.
You have a lot of leverage if you are the most productive one there. Just make sure your efforts are known while doing it.
If that doesn't work, and you really want to work less for them, use the extra time to brand yourself really well online using your own projects or contributing to OSS. Then, using this impressive version of yourself, find a job that will be better than your current one.
After doing that, negotiate with an ultimatum: Ask for something that...

Hashcat 3.00 released!

wow, i just downloaded this a few hours ago because I didn't feel like booting into kali.
I've been downloading all the hacked password databases I can find and I'm in the process of cracking some of the hashes.
If only there was a WPA2 Reaver
Is there a password cracker around that has a good set of default rules for matching real world passwords?
e.g. stuff like common letter replacements (o->0), capitalization (first letter of a word upper case or not), punctuation (a symbol at the end is common), combinations of 2 words, adding numbers to the end (e.g. 1 or 2), etc.
I know pretty much every password cracker out there has a powerful filter system that can let you codify all of these rules, but I'm lazy and not really in the business of cracking passwords regularly.
A good set of presets...

Anyone expecting to overclock a RX 480 much past 1400Mhz without heavy modification is dreaming. Watch this for the reason why. Also they BTFO the PCIe powerdraw bullshit being thrown around by Nvidiots.

You mean like the custom boards that get released for every GPU?
>>55430790
We'll see. But I still doubt much past 1400Mhz. There is one card advertising 1400Mhz but whether it will have anymore headroom than that will have to wait to be seen. The AIB's I would class as 'heavy modification' anyhow. Perhaps they will add their own i2c to overcome the power limit.
This is the Firestrike score they got @ 1500Mhz.
Considering my OC'd R9 290 gets 11289 it's kinda underwhelming.
Glad I ordered the 1070 now. Sure I am paying out the wazoo for it but at least I know it will handle everything I throw at it @ 1080 with minimum of 60 FPS.
Hey /g/, I'm at a crossroads for how I should go about this project and I need some advice.
I'm involved with a student organization called Future Business Leaders of America, which is basically /pol/'s ripoff of Science Olympiad, and we are thinking about setting up a website for students to look up information and post pictures of State/National Events and things of that nature. A group of guys (roughly 2 or 3 programmers including me) will be maintaining the site, and we're trying to think what type of solution we should use.

About to hit the trigger on a MacBook Pro 15.4", the least-expensive version via a reseller. Seems to be good bang for buck, ASUS/Dell aren't much cheaper at this performance/quality point (if at all - 15" ZenBook or XPS 15 all trade in quality for a lower price).
Am I about to make a mistake?
>>55430333

Well yeah, thanks but I'm not going to benchmark this thing 24/7 nor am I going to compile Gentoo on it.

Most decent motherboards are rated for up to 300w from the PCIe lane (Not slot but the motherboard does not care about individual slots it uses the power pull across all slots. It's why you can put more than 1 GPU on there). So it's bullshit really. The only boards that might die are those that can't handle more pull to begin with.
