What up /g/? I'm looking for a good solution.

So this summer I'm going to be away on at an internship and I want to be able to play games (inb4 >>>/v/). I mostly play Battlefield and Fallout which need a good GPU. I said fuck no to shipping my desktop tower because I've heard horror stories. I have an older laptop (Asus A53SV-NH51) but it has a shit GPU, and a pretty good Surface Pro 3.

Here are some options, maybe you guys can help me come up with some better ones:

1. Suck it up and not play vidya.
2. Bring shit-tier laptop and play at 12fps.
3. eGPU setup via mPCI-e (via the onboard wifi slot)
4. Buy a gaming laptop and try to sell it after this summer.

The only other option is to use my parent's Costco membership to buy a laptop and then return it after 90 days. Just ship it back before then, but that's a dick move. Anyways, anyone got any ideas?

-Thanks

It's in the pouch so when you accidentally press the opening key it won't actually reach the car's immobilizer

Like meme, this word has been used so many times to describe so many things that it has lost ita meaning.

Are you implying that if you use mega.nz your computer will be turned into a drone on a botnet?

What have your experiences been with various GPU board partners?

EVGA tends to be top of the list for Nvidia, and Sapphire for AMD. But how has it been with other manufacturers? Or those ones if you have negative experiences.

Its card specific nowdays.

Like some asus amd cards cool like shit because they used a nvidia cooler.
>>
Mostly model specific, reference PCBs with a fancy coolers are still shit. regardless being AMD or Nvidia.
>>
I swear to god GPU coolers look more and more like Beyblades every year

Hi /g/, I was considering doing a new build with a GTX 980. What would be your recommendations.

<--- Current specs. My GPU is an R6950 2GB.

For what purpose? We're a week away from Nvidia gimping it via drivers.
>>
>>54672061
Fair point. Recommendations? Should I wait till the aftermarket 1080/1070 cards next year.
>>
>>54672077
No it's not a fair point, it's a retarded meme

It's been researched and debunked many times

So what's the best password manager currently?

I think password managers are more trusted than just randomizing passwords and saving it firefox or chrome.

Screenshare in Hangouts? lol, forget about doing that in Chrome. Nada. No way. Doesn't work. Had to open up Firefox for that shit to work.

I don't. I use Iridium. It is the most responsive, stable, uses chrome extensions, 64bit, sandboxed tabs with the option to sandbox by domain, and takes advantage of multithreading. With my debloated Win7 install I can browse a few tabs and only use 1GB of memory.

Only a fucking SJW numale cuck would use Firefox with their beyond shit development philosophy, x86 platform, bloat, and pro-gay/tranny/nigger agenda.

Only a retard would use botnet/IE.

Palemoon and other FF forks are memes.

Iridium is the natural choice for anyone with a brain.
>>
because chrome does things in about 5 different processes per window, and internet explorer is too slow.

HP would be Samsung+Qualcomm+TI on steroid now if Fiorina split off its industrial division and then shit up the rest of the company, trying to turn it into a shittier version of Dell.

I just got my free OS completely set up and I'm not sure if I want to pollute it with non-free software which might be a botnet

You aren't important enough (at all) to be spied on. The NSA would rather expend resources on non-NEET individuals who have potential.
