Another possibility is they spend that money on something else? I personally like when devs give the app for free with the ability to remove ads for $1.

Since most phones have the ability to be used as a remote, do you do so?
What's your favourite app for it?
Do you find it more useful than a normal remote?

Check out unified remote. It lets you control your computer and make your own remotes and it has IR functionality, too. IR is a bit weird on it though.
>>
LG QuickRemote works ok. definitely much easier than having to find and use the real remotes.

Absolutely. CS has been dumbed down so much and people just think of it as something that will give them a "quick and easy" way of getting a high paying job after graduation. The truth is that CS major is heavily overpacked and companies are switching over to offshoring massive amounts of work and because of all the supply of programmers, the average pay is dropping like a rock (assuming you still have your job).

Is it worth it to not take a free upgrade in order to maintain my unlimited data with Verizon?

Is it actually unlimited at 4g speeds, has anyone tested it?

The upgrade is not "free", dummy. The price of the phone is already included in your new monthly rate, and then some.
>>
It's not worth it, no. Buy a phone outright and do a device change. Any change to your plan that involves you not paying full price for a new phone will get rid of your unlimited data.
>>
>>51460418
It all depends. I got a new 6s for $25 more a month. They took off $25 a month because I am on a certain plan. I did not plan on jumping to a new carrier so it works out for me.

>yfw your newegg wishlist is more expensive during the black friday deals than it was before the black friday deals

Isn't that price gouging, or false advertisement? Isn't that illegal, what they are doing? Everything is marked up and even with the discounts you're still paying more.
11 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
It's not illegal because nobody's forcing you to buy things on black friday, retard.
Anyway, the smart thing is to buy the stuff you needed right now and then price match later.
No need to buy shit you didn't need just because it was "on sale".

Glad I ditched this a few weeks ago.

I currently use "Amaze", but people always tell me it's bad because apparently it'll delete files if you attempt to move them to locations you can't write to. Haven't used it enough to test this.

Hi.

I don't know anything about hardware. I was thinking about making a computer.

How hard would it be to make a computer and processor from scratch? I was thinking of starting from making a calculator and stopping at some type of game machine that can run game code.

Obviously I have nowhere to start with any of this though, so I just want to know the feasibility and what books I should get.

Keep in mind I just want to make a simple game box with a controller and some shitty, probably black and white LCD with a simple interface.

I wasn't aware people who made the first electronic calculators were born with the knowledge. Thanks for the heads up.
