With all my honesty, ignore the "chink phone" meme. The phone has been flawless so far for me, performance is snappy and smooth, display is absolutely amazing and the camera is quite decent too.
My only complaints is the average battery and the camera sucking a lot in low-light conditions. Some of it is software related though.

A friend (also an anon) suggested Linux (specifically, openSUSE 42.1) for me, since I mostly use the machine for work (some of the software I use at work are native on Linux) and download torrents...
...and I liked it, better than Windows.

The problem with this thing is you have to uscrew the bottom of your laptop to plug it into the wifi card spot.
It's a pain in the ass and when it's all set up you might as well be using a desktop.

I have a quick question about my nokia lumia 800
I dropped it 10 minutes ago, it looked fine.
It landed flat on the back on bricks, and now i had to take the battery out because the screen got scolding hot and black spots started to apear.
Is the phone doomed now?
or what could i do to fix this?
I opened the case and the part that is hot is near the camera, not the battery itself but something near the sd card and camera is turning very very hot

Ok /g/, i know this isnt some help desk but no google search nor hours of dicking aroud with this network has helped.
I have a small drafting company I work for doing their tech work for i.e. Babyboomers in a office Neanderthaling the computers. They have a desktop with XP on it and a plotter (gigantic printer) that works well together. I just installed and networked all their devices together but this printer refuses to work. I have all the drivers that I could download from HP but none of them work on XP. How does one get the machine running XP to host printing for the rest. Mind you I need as few steps as possible because this is 40 something year olds beating the shit out of these things.
