Cool idea and I see it working one day, but hopefully the licensing is extremely restrictive. 99% of drivers shouldn't even be allowed to operate a motor vehicle. You try to allow the average person to fly even the safest aircraft and you're going to have people dying left and right. Which would be fine by me, except the government' kneejerk response would be to ban everyone from flying them.

Not sure what private trackers are all about?
The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.

>staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before.
>staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers
>people may report emails and other personal info posted here to staff to get you banned.
>most of the invite offers here are people trolling you with false hope - begging for invites is a waste of time and you should just interview

Is Google ever gonna care about this?
>>52354943
They have been since Lollipop, and now definitely with Marshmallow. I'd give it 2 more years, before the latest OS would have the majority use. There would still be shit-tier phones skewing the stats, though.
>>52354943
what's the problem?
>>52354943
It's still their OS. Why would they care? Even more so they don't have to work on a new one since it seems the ones already out are doing a fine job.
Why are so many people falling for the 4K meme? Unless you're sitting 2 feet away or have an 80" tv, it's humanly impossible to see any difference from 1080p. And now we're 2 years into 4k tv's being on the market and there's still a total of 8 movies available in that resolution. Is the american consumer really this fucking stupid?
>>52353514
Because it's sharper?
Because all new TVs are made in 4k?
Because all the new TV technology is focused into 4k displays because theres' no reason to bother with shitty 1080p anymore?
Because people don't like 50 ppi on their 40"+ tvs?
Because people like more screen real estate when used with computers?
So tell me OP, how poor are you?
i don't care about 4K tv's but i sure do care about a 4K monitor for my PC
looks great, can't wait until they're just a little more affordable
Someone once said never underestimate the stupidity of the American consumer. Is there anything Samsung doesn't make? I think they can afford a lost leader or try to force a technology once in awhile where the application does not yet exist. Personally, I haven't had a TV or cable subscription for more than 10 years, it's a continuous commercial you pay for as far as I can tell.

External DAC or possibly a dedicated sound card.

reinstall drivers, use replacement drivers (pirate breakaway software amp, it's really not too bad), check if it happens with anything else, if it doesn't it's the game and if it does buy an external dac+amp

Other business laptops are also welcome in /tpg/ (e.g. Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook).

If you're looking for purchase advice, READ THE BUYERS GUIDE FIRST. Then post, stating budget and requirements (e.g. size and performance).
Don't buy anything OTHER THAN T, X AND W/P SERIES if you want the Real ThinkPad Experienceâ„¢
Recommended models:
T420 - 14", normal size
X220 - 12.5", lightweight
----
Why ThinkPad? (also applies to other business laptops)
>They’re really cheap when you buy a used one.
>Keyboards feel excellent while typing (yes, even the newer ones).
>Great durability thanks to the inclusion of rollcages and use of glass fiber reinforced plastic for the chassis. The keyboard is splash proof and spilled liquids will drain out.
>Utilitarian design - e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models.
>Docking solutions that easily turns your laptop into a desktop.
>Easy to repair, upgrade and maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for almost every model. Spare parts are easy and cheap to obtain.
>The best trackpoint (that red thing on the middle of the keyboard). Great for those who type a lot or hate swiping their fingers all over a touchpad.
>Excellent GNU/Linux & *BSD support.

gonna try and libreboot them, maybe sell the one in worse condition.
Intended for users of all levels, including absolute beginners.
There are three ways to try Linux, you can:
1) Install a Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
2) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full Linux experience".
3) Dual-boot Linux with Windows/Mac (recommend if you want to learn more about Linux)
4) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with Linux (not recommended)
If you are serious about switching to Linux and if you have Windows dual-booted, we recommend you use it exclusively for 2 weeks, and avoid Windows dual booting for that period of time, or it's likely you will start retreating back to windows instead of getting used to Linux as your new home and working onnmaking it feel the way you want it.

Those were two old technologies on their way out. You think wired audio is going to be obsolete in 3 years?
iphone 5s was the last good iphone d e s u
>>52349147
Nobody's said the only other option is bluetooth.
the 3.5mm form factor has long been obsolete, but headphone manufacturers won't make anything else because it's ubiquitous, and it's ubiquitous because nobody wants to upset the status quo. It's a vicious circle
If the iphone 7 becomes popular than manufacturers will start producing high end lightning headphones
