You gotta remember, I'm black, and poor, I need motivation to buy a GPU after buying one for my wife's son, so I go with the most attractive one for the price point.
What computer desk and chair do you use? Would you recommend them? Pic related is what I'm looking at, I literally just need a barebones desk and a comfortable chair.

They have a larger desk for only 20 dollars more, but it's not any deeper, just much wider. My current desk and chair were bought from a pawn shop for like 20 dollars combo, so even a relatively cheap new desk and chair would be fabulous.
Just looking to get some rec's on economical equipment. I don't know if Ikea is any good but if it stands up and holds a monitor that's pretty good to me.

At least I managed to fix WakeOnLan, so I can leave it in sleep mode and just turn it on whenever I need it instead of just leaving it on 24/7
Also have a 4TB WD Red that's waiting to be installed, I can finally rip my PS2 discs and BDs with plenty of room to spare
Hopefully it's not DOA since I don't yet have a matching 5TB external for backup...going to be stressful not having everything backed up. At least the 1TB still works, so I guess I could just throw that in an enclosure and use it in conjunction with my 1TB passport until I get that 5TB...

I want to buy a dell xps 13, but the two resolution options are 1920x1080 and 3200x1800
If I get the 3200x1800 and run it at 1600x900 with no dpi scaling will everything look blurry? Or will it scale properly to double pixels.

so I've bought a new rig and am currently waiting for the last few parts to arrive.
I've always been a MS sheep out of convenience but seeing how stupid win10 is and the fact that I'm not 12 anymore, I really want to replace it with gnu/linux.
the problem is, I have no idea what distro to pick.
I mainly use the PC for either playing games or working on game projects, as well as webdesign for work.
I've read up some shit and watched comparison videos and saw that some linux supported games run faster and better on ubuntu 15.x.x compared to win10, however I really dislike the touch and feel of ubuntu.
Since you guys know a thing or two about gnu/linux distros, I figured I might as well ask for your oppinion
