Anyone else experienced 4chan showing that someone else is you?
Many ISP's route thousands of their users through the same public IP address. Often they do it in bulks of 4,000 to 20,000 customers per IP address. This is to save money but also so they don't have to invest money into IP v6 protocol.
>>54856781
You mean 4chan X?
>>54856781 (you)
no, you?

Are there any good Android phones the size of the iPhone SE? When I search for compact Android phones I either get 5 inch phones, or phones that are really old
android is trash
>tfw barely any high-end ubuntu/firefox/sailfish/tizen phones
>tfw stuck with either android or ios while both are steaming piles of Indian poo
There's the Xperia Z5 Compact, which is really nice. I have a Nexus 5X right now and I constantly think I would prefer a smaller option, even though it is great.
I thinking on buying a Chromebook Pixel (2013) to make out of it a hackintosh . Apart from learning to use OS X, I can complete my collection of hardware runnin different OS. I already have a Desktop PC running Arch, an Android tablet, and a Windows Tablet with keyboard. What does /g think? Do you have any guides on how to install Mac OS on the 2013 Chromebook Pixel?
>>54856625
You cant do that OP
>>54856625
Laptops aren't usually hackintoshable. Unless there are multiple, easily-findable guides and success reports, assume it cannot be done.
>>54856625
I doubt that is even realistically possible. At best, and really only if you already have experiences with hackintosh and put some work in it, you'll get half of the device working.
Just buy a rMBP. It's quite universally a better device and you won't have any trouble getting OS X running on those, promise.
I've been hyping over this phone for ages and now that I finally have it, i'm bored af.
Anyone Know anything i can do with this phone?

Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on Gearbest, AliExpress, eBay and similar sites.

Anyone have experience with the Teclast X80 Pro? I'm looking for a tablet around 9".
I really like how the OPs have recaps in them now.
is the z5 compact the best "small" smart phone out there? should I wait for z6? currently using iphone 4s
>>54856488

>>54856531
There is no Z6. The Xperia X is the next line.

What the fuck is a "web app"?
Is it just a website app for your phone or more than that?
>>54856409
It's short for web application. It's any form of distributed application that uses HTTP for transport.
>>54856409
its a thing that makes your PC slow and forces you to buy a new one.
>>54856451
so would a website be a web app?
I was going to make a site and I wanted to use Material Design (inb4 >botnet)
I've been using a GTX 760 since 2013, and I just havn't been very impressed by new cards coming out. The cost for pitiful upgrades hasn't seemed worth it.
Still, i'm looking for an upgrade. Should I pick up a 960-980? Or... do I just pick u pa second 760???
RX 480
rx480 is what you're looking for.
Pick an AMD polaris card, it's more powerful and cheaper than the junk you just cited

At what age did you grow out of giving a shit about what OS or editor you use?
I haven't, and probably never will. Muh freedumbs, etc.
People write amazing stuff in JavaScript. From all kinds of retro emulators to editors, browsers and even an x86 emulator that runs fucking Linux:
http://bellard.org/jslinux/
JavaScript (V8) beats Python 3 in terms of raw performance:
https://benchmarksgame.alioth.debian.org/u32/compare.php?lang=v8&lang2=python3
And ES6 brings a lot of neat stuff to the table making JavaScript one of the most modern programming languages currently in use in the world, supporting many different paradigms, styles and applications.
http://www.zsoltnagy.eu/functional-programming-with-es6/
Not to mention in terms of age vs maturity it's probably one of the most mature and active ecosystems for a scripting language.
Only sheep would be so stupid as to keep hating on it without any logical reason to do so. What does this say about /g/?
>>54856239
>What does this say about /g/?
/g/ is a cesspool of NEETs and IT undergrads who think they know a lot about computers because they can write FizzBuzz in Haskell and once had to manually install a different graphics driver.
If there's any lesson to learn from /g/ is that you should never take anything on this board seriously.
Every now and then there are some good discussion involving knowledgeable people, but usually it is just meme heaven.
>/g/ is shit

I honestly didn't expect this kind of response.

What's with this meme, /g/? Ever since 2015 all of the ""note"" phones are 5.7 inches or less. That's not a fucking note phone.
>>54856226
Last time I checked all of the ""note"" phones were Samsung's.
