You should have bought a 3 year old processor or waited a year for Zen possibly.

So our corporation has a business in Kazakhstan, and now we got this problem

How is that even possible no one talks about it? It looks like a beta test before introducing it in more civilised countries.

Come on now, Toshiba and Dell have already been caught shipping root certs with their hardware in recent memory.

It was only a matter of time before it was "for your safety."

That's why you always wipe the drive completely after you buy a machine. Even better would be throwing away the hard drive it came with and use another one.

What a fucking difference. Debian is nice, but apt is shit, dnf is so much better.

Besides the name, why aren't you using Fedora /g/?

Now that they have lights, are they any different to just reading on a laptop screen? How is the light different?

It will just result in the same eye strain.

if this were the case, and it's not, then this information would have been known by now, as these products have been out for more than 5 years

is there a torrent program that returns search results similar to limewire, but instead trawls popular torrent sites for results?

it would make it a lot easier than having to navigate through various websites

Sup /g/

I have a couple hard disks I want to nuke before recycling them.

Should I use DBAN's default autonuke (3 pass DoD), something lighter or something heavier?

There is nothing absolutely critical on the drives, but still, it's a bunch of personal data I don't want some random dudes to recover...

I have an off the shelf computer right now and was going to do incremental upgrades but I decided that I would just buy everything all at once. Would this be any good?

Case: Antec One
CPU: i5 4590
Motherboard: MSI-H87M-G43
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 4GB SC
PSU: Corsair CX750M
RAM: 2x 2GB @ 1333Hz, 2x 4GB @ 1333Hz (Already have these.)

I already bought the case and it's being shipped, that was before I decided to just buy everything at once. I'm pretty much stuck with it. With that in mind it can fit a max 10.5" graphics card.

I'm thinking of a 750W PSU cause I don't want to have to upgrade it soon.

I have heard of the GTX 970 RAM fiasco and I've looked at some game play videos and it seems not bad, the price jump from 970 to 980 seems too high to justify the increase in performance.

I plan on using Windows 7 64bit for as long as possible if that matters.

>3,5

get a xeon 1231v3

antec one is okay, i'd get something noise isolated though

about psu, just get any 550-650 watt psu with gold certification and maybe modular if you want it. a psu is always a gamble in longevity but going for more watts is not a good idea since gpu's, the main power drawing suckers, will get even better efficiency as time goes on so you can spend the money in efficiency rather than maximal wattage output
>>
>>51741004
I don't know if it'd be worth it in price difference from the i5 to Xeon 1231v3, the CPU and motherboard are a combo for $340 (Canada dollars), separately the CPU is $270 and motherboard is $85. The Xeon is $373 by itself without a cooler and I'd have to get a separate motherboard.

From what I've read so far the CPU isn't as important as the GPU.
