I'm trying to remove a part from an mkv.
Here is what i tried doing: split the mkv at the two timecodes before and after the part I'm not interested in.
since the keyframes do not precisely match, the middle part contains some video that i want to keep.
so I reencode the middle part with the proper start and end.
the problem is, mkvmerge cannot concatenate the initial and reencoded videos because of mismatching "codec private data". it seems like it's because the encoding settings are different, but how can i use the same settings? I cannot ask whoever did the initial conversion, is it possible to infer them from the video?

CompEng freshman here

I want to do some small project over break but I don't have an idea of what to do. I was looking to do something with a media server in my home or something with a raspberry pi.

Any suggestions for something that will take anywhere from a day to a week to do?

Beginner here at learning code.

Decided to learn C first.

I'm on Windows 10. Will most likely change to another system if I grasp coding and get into it.

Question(s):

What text editor is good for C on Windows? And also what compiler is good for C on Windows? Suggestions for other essential programs to use for practicing and using code as well please. I don't plan on using an IDE.

So this piece of china fucking shit.

>The awful plastic feel.
>The goddamn small size of it
Huge minus, especially the second one.

It is so bayed I have to fall back to my Zowie and Steelseries mouses that I still got lying around. Mainly the physical size of it

What mouse do you use ?

I use the G502 and the M65, which is miles ahead.
>>
>>51698278
Have the G502. Since I'm a third-worlder, I had to pay almost $100 USD for it.

Got used to the size very quickly, I use a mix of claw and fingertip grip.
Feels pretty solid to me, even fell off my desk once without suffering so much as a scratch.
That scroll wheel is a god-send.
Perfect sensor.

I dunno, I like it. Sad that you're not satisfied with your purchase, OP. Hope you're enjoying your current mice!

Literally only thing bad about it for me is the aesthetics, but I really don't care. Would be 10/10 if they made it look less flashy and "super serious leet gaymur".

depends on how you look at it. I'd call it room for upgrades as needed.

my board is actually PCI-E 3.0

* Nexus because of updates, unlocked to carriers, and good value
* Samsung because of pure performance even despite touchwiz, also best

cameras
* Motorola for being near stock, good quality. Customer support isn't

what it was.
* LG for still offering removable batteries and SD card slots, and great customer service.
* Oneplus if you want decent phones, but be aware they have a bad

reputation for support
* Firefox fx0 for $60, it's the ultimate poorfag phone. <--- people

are saying that's not true, what have you found?
* Sony for offering good performing phones, great quality, dev support. Not so available in the US. Ultimate shit customer service though.

Upgrading from s4, want SD card and removable battery, and a good camera. Is LG my only option?
>>
>>51684938
Depends on where you are.

Oneplus is an option.

Motorola has SD card slots at least

If you are in Europe you have access to plenty of chinkphones that aren't too shabby

best place to learn coding?

So I want to learn coding real bad but just can't get into freecodecamp at all for some reason. Seems very slow and tedious.

Which sites do you guys recommend for html5 css, and game design? (for mobile or browser based)
