Tonight I was mostly having Lagunitas IPA, because we have a bunch at work, but honestly I wasn't much of a beer drinker until recently. I used to keep it strictly to hard liquor (mixed with soda or whatever) and some of my favorites were Bulleit, Crown (boring, I know), and Midori in the liqueur department. Any distro can be riced, but Arch or similar in minimal is recommended because the rest come with stuff that's just going to get in your way.
There aren't really any guides, check out installgentoo wiki on GNU linux ricing but the rest is pretty much limited to your creativity and knowledge of your window manager config files :3

Oh I can, buddy. I'm browsing at work right now and while I have a note 4 and a big screen, it's still a little cumbersome to sift through wiki pies trying to figure out where to take my first steps. Linux is touted these days as fully functional OS's for normal people so it's not easy to find info on installing an OS and WM and DE and how to edit these files for cool colors and better animations and Yada Yada stuff first don't know about.

An hour to read the terminal's man page, locate the appropriate resources and settings, and scour your system for the appropriate font names (and then find out about letterspace and linespace two minutes later). Something critical, like scrollback search, might not even be on your system, and will be harder to keep up to date as URxvt's perl interface change. Not everything is on the arch wiki. Instead of using dated software that needs fixing, just use modern software that works, like gnome-terminal, termite, vim, and DEs.
URxvt is a definite upgrade from xterm in this way, as any vanilla xterm user who ever tried to figure out why their window kept resizing itself might attest, but it's a definite downgrade from every modern terminal.
Unless you're one of those bloat/unix guys that won't even use vim because it has too many lines of code.

I'm mostly looking for stuff to customize how my taskbar behaves on the two monitors. At the moment, my notification area only shows on 1 monitor, and I'd like the clock for instance to show on both.
Also, I'd like for clicking a pinned program to open the program on the monitor I clicked from. At the moment it just remembers its previous position, even if it was on the other screen.
