Firefox itself is barely better than Google botnet now. What browser should I switch to with excellent addon support and that doesn't look like shit?
>SeaMonkey
This seems great, has wonderful add-on support and isn't run by retards. Fatal flaw: looks like ass/layout is extremely outdated, unless /g/ can point me to a great theme.
>Pale Moon
Terrible add-on support, or so I've heard.
>Waterfox
Looks great but I'm not on Windows.
>Chromium/Chrome
Considering, but I want to stay with a Firefox fork if possible. And while I'm no Stallmanist, Chrome is waaaay over the line in terms of muh freedumbs.
>IceCat
I'm not a Stallmanist, so the extra freedom to me isn't worth the minimal addon support.
Right now I'm thinking I'll have to bite the bullet and pick either SeaMonkey or Pale Meme, and either have good add-ons or good UI but not both. Is there a better option? Is the Firefox dev edition still good despite the main Firefox release being shit?
there is literally no browser that is good
you can get close, but never there
chromium is what i use
>>52196038
Palemoon has a solid amount of addons, but it also has the shitty memory leak issues of old FF
Chromium
hey /g/,
i have this .json file (with tweets in it, duh) how can i count how many tweets are in there ?
preferably some kind of python script would be nice
thank you

I won't give you the code, but have a look at some features of the json markup for that content, what gets repeated when (and only when?) a tweet is listed? I'd imagine this would be piss easy with a spreadsheet application, but iterating through each line and checking for certain features would work too.
Could we start to see computers that use the decimal system or at least higher than binary system?
I'm not very knowledgeable in this field, so I'm wondering if that can be done if if not, why not? Is there anything to even gain by doing it?
>>52195765
no.
binary isn't about numbers, its about electric signal.
1 = on
0 = off
>>52195765

>>52195765
Only in quantum computing, but we'll never see that on a consumer level.

Daily reminder that even a 5 year old version of uTorrent blows the everliving fuck out of every freetard torrent client and that freetards are so buttblasted that uTorrent is still popular as fuck that they take every opportunity to badmouth uTorrent.
Meanwhile, 95% of the torrent community uses uTorrent while the remaining 5% of the torrent community use broke-as-fuck freetard clients because they are literal hipsters who want to feel like special little snowflakes.
Don't let the freetards pollute your mind with their propaganda, uTorrent users. Remember that you use the best fucking torrent client in the world and that freetard shills are stuck with their inferior clients and only want to bring you down to their pleb level.
I am proud to be a uTorrent 2.2.1 user.

Alright /g/, I know you hate it when a thread like this comes up, but I don't care if you do hate it.
What are approved android phone models for a money-saver's budget? I'm not spending anything like 300 europoor bucks on a fucking phone. Maybe 200 but any higher than that would require it does blowjobs and the dishes too, which I don't want it to do anyway.
I don't care about gimmicks, trends ands hypes, I just want the damn thing to work well. The most important thing is that it's not be loaded with "user protection" shit like
-a locked-down bootloader
-difficult rooting
-inability to backup and restore the low-level filesystem (i.e. the entire memory contents)
-unremovable worthless apps installed by some stupid sponsor that tries to get you into their ecosystem and thinks pictures of smiling people and other marketing shit has any place in programs
-other (often unremovable) worthless shit programs like some no-name browser from the manufacturer, backup programs that don't tell you what they actually back up or how a restore will work
-etc
You know, an android phone the average normie would see as the linux among phones: cold, fast, straight-edge efficiency, no beating around the bush or handholding, no marketing or feel-good shit, etc.
Mucho danke, mes amis.

> Does it have stock/or close to stock Android?
> Does is have a Qualcomm chipset
> Does it have Android version 4.4+
If the answer is yes to all of these, then it will most likely fit your purposes.
>>52194511
Having stock android (called aosp if I'm not mistaken?) is a good point, but I somehow managed to get aosp for my current shit phone and I'm less than impressed: calls are muted (mic and speakers) every time I make or receive a call and toggling the mute buttons doesn't change that, the ringtone doesn't play, certain settings pages crash, the stock apps are ugly and inconsistently themed in every way (can't even enable a different color palette on e.g. messaging), etc. I'm not sure if it's aosp or the phone but I'm gonna give aosp the benefit of the doubt since this phone probably doesn't actually support it well.
>quallcomm
Haven't heard this name, is it like the competition of mediatek? Mediatek is my current and I never wanna touch a mediatek again, it's shit.
Probably any no-name Chinese phone
Been a while since I've seen these. Ghost town now, wonder why

1. Install uBlock Origin

Those are all the necessary ones. Everything else is personal taste, but you should keep additional ones to a minimum as it may impact performance.

Do normies really love this guy?
Why would anyone like a businessman who screwed people over with price gouging...
Because people are ignorant, most don't even know be basically committed suicide from thinking he knew better than his doctors. That alone shows how we should remember that loser.
Normies gravitate towards the alpha, the boss, not the "eggheads" or engineers. Thus the face of the company gets the credit rather than the men who made everything possible.
