What's the most decent small and affordable smartphone now? 4 1/2 inch, tops.
I've tried iPhone 4s recently and I liked the size. I would like to get something with Android, obviously.

How likely is it that a samsung neo variant would get an cm build? Talking about the s5 neo. It looks really nice but knowing samsung they'll drop after two years, system updates and security patches

They really don't make phones with 3.5" screens anymore
The best I would recommend is the Moto E 2nd gen, it has a 4.5" screen, runs Android Lollipop (possibly Marshmallow but I don't know), it's snappy, software is basically stock, and it looks pretty cool I think
My friend's got one and they're nice, also I had the 1st gen Moto G a couple years ago and I can vouch for that being pretty decent, so yeah, look at the Moto E 2nd gen.
