Alright /g/, I'm a sad and lowly truck driver but I need a gayming laptop when I'm on the road. Which ones are worth looking at? I already have an HP Envy but I'm getting cucked by this dual-core i7 5500U.
I can't build a mini-ATX PC either since the power supply would draw too much from the trucks batteries.

So, after becoming one of the latest victims of the "forced" upgrades from Win7 to Win10 that bricked my PC I've decided I've had enough with Microfail and I'm looking for an alternative OS.
I'm also not huge fan of Mac OS X ever since Mavericks and I bought my new PC very recently so it wouldn't make sense to get a new Apple computer.
I'm looking for any Windows alternative such as Linux and BSD but I'm open to any suggestion. What does /g/ recommend? My one limitation is that I use Autodesk and Adobe software daily for my work and I'm not sure how those could be used in a non-Windows environment and how well they would perform (I used VMWare briefly when I had a Mac and the performance wasn't the best).
Any suggestions?

I use Debian.
Proprietary things—games, software, and drivers—are keeping people from switching. If given the choice, most people would choose Windows over Linux without so much as a second thought. Most don't consider Linux a viable option.
Also missing is the support of manufacturers. Very few computers come with Linux installed at the time of purchase; it's a niche market. The average consumer wants something they know how to use, and they definitely don't know how to navigate the command line, the vast number of distributions available, the desktop environments, replacements for proprietary software like Microsoft Word, and issues with drivers and hardware support. They don't want to deal with it.
I'm going to say it: Linux users will always be a minority. People who do not work in technology-related fields have no reason to use it.

im looking for a laptop that i could use for the next 3 years until i can splurge on a good desktop.
i mainly need it for drawing and skyping. my current laptop will only be around till the end of the summer, so im using that time to save up cus currently i dont have a ton of money to spend.

I'm planning on buying a new laptop and i'm having trouble finding one that adheres to what i want. I'm trying to get one that i know will
1.last long(I can't be spending my money willy nilly)
2.is proficient in allowing me to take part in artistic pursuits like digital drawing, photo/video editing, 2d/3d animation,3d art modeling etc (i'm an aspiring artist)

I have a problem where whenever i save a photo on the 4chan iOS app, i cant find it in my camera roll or anywhere. Is there any way i can fix this issue /g/ ?
I had that problem before I switched phones, it sometimes saves and sometimes doesn't. The only way around is to screen shot or open in browser and download from there.
The best way to fix it would be to kill yourself.
