We had a fucker try that at my tech job once.
Guy tried to return a super high end computer he purchased two days earlier. He had swapped out the 980ti with a 750, there was no processor under the liquid cooler, and he had replaced the 8GB RAM DIMMS with 4's. Factoring in the retail cost of the rig he was trying to get back (plus the individual components a manager found posted on craigslist) we got the guy on Grand Theft.

Hey guys my HD 7950 died and while im waiting for my new GPU I have to use onboard graphics so no gaming which is fine except now my pc wont output 1080p

Don't buy a tablet. They aren't actually good for anything. Just stick with a laptop.

I'll be honest, it really isn't. Fell for the tablet meme a few years back, and it feels more like carrying a slab of light concrete around. One that gets scratched, finger-printed, and generally gunked up easily. If you want the compromise then you can always get a 2 in 1 but those are top-heavy and kind of weird to use. Laptops are also a lot cheaper: You can find a Dell Latitude E6400 for very cheap these days, likely under 200 dollars. You can go the way you want, but tablets tend to get phased out like phones do, while laptops last a lot longer and give you more control in the end.
