Planning a new build. Aliens and the Alien franchise are my favorite movies, and I want to do a theme from the movies.

Hey /g/ I'm a GPU noob, and I need some help. I've recently come into possession of a pretty jacked PC, but it has a nvidia quadro K4200 (it's used for rendering), which obviously sucks balls for gaming. I want to get the GTX 1070 when it comes out, but I have no idea how to not fuck up having two video cards on one computer. What do I do to make sure one video card is used on different programs? I only have one monitor.

dispute usage between cards based on what programs are running

Reading things on any screen in the dark is going to cause eye strain. With decent ambient lighting and a large enough font size there should be no real problem.

It's really fucking quiet. I have 2 290s in Crossfire and can't hear them under load.
Front panel door is a little flimsy.
I have a CM Storm Enforcer. The overall design is nice. Alot of space and the easy to install Watercooling is a nice feature it seems but I never got around to using it. The front door feels very cheap and the magnets that hold it in place have fallen out and needed to be glued back in, has a couple of issues also with cleaning the front fan and the mesh catching on the fan afterwards meaning it can take a few attempts to get it to sit right.
Good space inside. Can fit up to 3 cards depending on how you go about it. And the HDD/SSD drives are pretty well placed and spaced...
