It's safer to keep it rather than download it every time you want to watch. People get caught by getting their IPs logged while they're actively torrenting, so the less time you spend downloading the better.

There's also the 1080p version for like 1/3 the price. 144Hz is a hell of a drug.
As for the korean monitors, they're nice, but they don't generally overclock that well and often just drop frames past 60 even if they report a higher refresh rate.

Mint will come with wireles drivers and all those office suite things installed, just like Ubuntu variants do, but without the zeitgeist and geo bullshit installed.

There is software out there that can recover lost data. You usually have to play for it though.

For my part, I only had a computer running Ubuntu. Quite simple to use for anyone, seems pretty stable, but didn't like the user interface, doesn't really look beautiful. Also the install was a real pleasure, in 2 click you got the thing running on your PC.
Also tried Debian at univ', with GNOME env, but can't really tell a lot about it.
I'm looking forward to see your distros and what you think about that.
