American plugs are pure shit
If you twist them even a little, this shit bends

Too wasteful, both in terms of resources and space.

Plus, half a lethal current is more than likely still fuckin' lethal.

why? also how have I never managed to fuck up a plug? If you're actually manage to fuck up an electrical plug, you're clearly retarded and shouldn't be playing around electrical sockets in the first place.

Wrong, exploit-based web-based worms like Sasser will infect a computer even if a user is smart enough to not to run infected executables.
CPU footprint of modern antiviruses is slight.

So, is there a way to make a Workspace require a password in order to be accesed? Also, how do I use different wallpapers in different workspaces? Using Korora, Fedora methods work the same though. Xfce.
>>
>>45493641
Because of seeding/downloading
In other words you have shit internet and your ISP is throttling you.
>>45493756
AFAIK there isn't.
I've looked it up before
As for the wallpaper see this

I'm using the latest testing version of mpv on linux, and some subtitles have these sections missing from them in some shows. (.ass softsubs)

It's been happening ever since I got MPV, and was probably a problem on other players, but I didn't notice it then.

Why are all the mainstream browsers shit /g/?
Seriously, is it too much to ask for a non-shit browser that's reasonably stable, has pretty good extension support, and doesn't eat up all of my system's resources?

>Linux clearly violates Microsoft Intellectual Property. This has been proven in a court of law. Microsoft software patents are stolen just to get Linux to boot up. And thousands more are infringed on by runlevel 5 (multi-user, networking, X11).

>Linux users owe Microsoft 10s of Billions of dollars in damages to compensate for this infringement, and 10s of Billions of dollars more in reasonable royalties. Everything you do and create using Linux, Microsoft owns the rights to.

>Everyone knows that without stolen Microsoft IP, Linux is nothing more than a bloated file manager.

Alright /g/ I've read this bullshit guide on "Best clients from /g/" and I've gotta say, it's terrible. For my test (on windows), I used three clients: utorrent 2.2.1, deluge (latest), and qbittorrent (latest).

With utorrent
>no problems readding 2000 torrents
>starts fast, closes fast, no problems scrolling or opening things
>rechecks like a dream
>easy to categorize with labels

with deluge
>opens like a drugged up elephant, closes like one too, but runs fine with 2000~ torrents
>I've lost tons of buffer on sites trying to re-add torrents because it wouldn't either recheck properly or didn't even see the files (inb4 you editted them, No I didn't faggot, I never edit files I get from downloads)
>the categorization with labels is a godsend, mulitiple labels are the future

with qbit
>opening and closing is fine but it's slow when scrolling
>readding torrents is okay at best but again, costs me buffer on sites attempting to recheck them and sometimes deletes some of my files entirely
>tagging system a shit

Why wont' you accept utorrent as the master race?

I did, years ago. There's nothing wrong with the newest version either, despite /g/'s constant shilling.

Yes, you CAN disable every single ad by going into the settings menu.

No, there is NO "botnet" or spyware installed. There is NO phoning home whatsoever either.

The adware are in the form of OpenCandy (Google it) and is only installed if you accept the deals in the installer.

Let's talk printers! I'm looking for a good laser printer for reasonable price. So far I found pic related for like $165 and it has a really good running cost. I really like the scanner and the document feeder for that (A separate scanner with a document feeder start from twice as much. Seriously, wtf?). It supposedly has good linux support too but I don't know about the scanner. Sane project says that ADF is buggy, I don't really know what they mean http://www.sane-project.org/cgi-bin/driver.pl?manu=canon&model=sensys&bus=any&v=&p=

A would hook it up to my home server which runs Debian.

Thoughts? Also printers general.

Did my resarch, could buy $11 refills for the 2.1k page cartridge. Even if they are jews and fill for half capacity it's still pretty damn cheap.
>>
>>45496105
Fair enough, I got seriously jewed by buying a Canon inkjet once and there were no compatible carts (yes, I checked everywhere at the time).
