What's your GPU history like /g/?
I haven't been hardcore gaming on PC for long, hence the lack of GPUs on my list. Thinking about upgrading from my GTX 980 in the next couple of months and I am VERY tempted by the GTX 1080, but I'll try to wait and see what AMD can pull out of the hat. I am also looking for 10bit monitor support since I do a fair bit for paid photography as a hobby (usually about $1,500 every month or so)

I dont upgrade often. I got the 970 for 60 under list and sold my old card so the net cost for that upgrade was around 30 bucks.
